Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party~~October 26

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering how many of you are planning to wear costumes, and if so what are you going to be? I haven't decided yet what were going to do. Maybe I can get some inspiration from your answers. See you there!!

I'll be there solo.

I did not go in costume last time, but if I could find something simple I might to do it.

Is there a reason why everyone makes ressies at LTT? Is there some kind of special event or mood that goes on there versus other places to eat at the MK??

I'll be there.

Look for me (as Fairy Godmother) and my DGD (age 8 as Cinderella)

My Step-D (as Snow White) and her little brother (age 10 as Dopey)

and my DGS (age almost 6 as Maleficent Dragon if it's cool or Buzz if it's hot)

LTT=Liberty Tree Tavern. We considered ressies there, but we like to be in Fantasyland (or Tomorrowland, whereever they put us) in between park hours and the party when there are NO crowds!!! Two years ago we did all the rides in Fantasyland in that one hour and last Dec we did everything in Tomorrowland. Saves a lot of time.

Our first time too! Can't wait. Anyone have any tips? What to wear!!??!!

We'll be there. DD3's first trip to WDW! She'll be Minnie. I'm still trying to convince DH to dress up.;)

We - My DH and I are surprising our three children - DD7, DD5 and DS3 with this trip. We will be there 10/22-10/29 and attending the party on the 24th and 26th. This is our 3rd trip to WDW and our first MNSSHP. We can't wait! :D

BBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! YEE HAAAA :bounce: :Pinkbounc :jester: :smooth:
We are staying at the Poly (first time onsite!) Concierge (hope the Hawaii building is done) and first time to MNSSHP! Just curious...why do some of you want to go twice? I've got to think of our costumes too....since we will be there 5 days before we move onsite, we may be able to get ours from a local store??

Our kids are 11 (DD) 8 (DS) and our MIL who is having a birthday today (50 something) and us. It should be a lot of fun! We are keeping the party a secret from the kids and MIL. Can't wait to surprise them!!

I was thinking we could go to MK earlier that day, and then go back to the Poly for the snacks at the lounge, and maybe nap and relax before the late night. What do you think??

Hello. I'm new and this is my first time posting a message. This is my second time going to Disney. My two friends and I will be going to MNSSHP for the first time. I'm so excited. How many people usually end up being at this halloween party? Do most adults go dressed up? What really fun things do you like about it? Thanks for letting me ask all these questions.

Sue

P.S. How do you add the countdown timer to your post?

We'll be going to our first MNSSHP on October 26. Our group includes me, my wife Linda, daughter Alicia and SIL, Ken. We'll also be enjoying the Food & Wine Festival for the first time, and we are signed up for the Happy Haunts Ball on Oct. 29! :)

We will be attending on the 26th and 31st Hope to meet some of you.

My husband and I will be there on the 26th too. First MNSSHP so I'm really excited about it. I hope to spot my first Diser, I'll be looking for you all!

I meant to say, we enjoyed your pictures a lot~we will also be at the MNSSHP on the 26th. We have two kids, 11 and 8, and my MIL will be there too. We are staying concierge lagoon view at the Poly. First time on site, 2nd time to WDW, son and MIL have never been, and daughter hasn't been since she was 2. We have dinner reservations @ the Crystal palace for the night of the party. Have you ever been? I hear its a good buffett. Thanks! Kelly

Thanks. Wow. You are coming a long way to enjoy the magic. We haven't ate at Crystal Palace in almost 3 years. It probably has changed a bit since then, It appears to get good reviews here.My brother is staying at the Polynesian concierge with DD 12 and 6. they are leaving on the 26th.
We are over at the BC concierge this year. We always enjoy MNSSHP. We hope you do too.:)

We'll be there this year. This is our first time at the party. Which rides are closed? How crowded is it usually?

We are staying on Universal property (RPR) on club level for 5 nights before our WDW adventure, so I was glad to see your pictures, and especially of the lounge! I pictured it totally different! Did you use the services/lounge offerings often? Did you think it was overcrowded and that they ran out of items a lot? I'm just curious, because I read someone's trip report on the HRH club, and it sounded horrible with rude people wasting food, etc. Is your brother leaving the Poly on the 26th or leaving for the Poly on that day? Kelly

Add four more for the 26th! Me, DH, DD(8) and BIL. Will be staying at the Boardwalk (at least for part of the trip. Probably will do water park that day. Just need to decide where to eat beforehand. I wonder if we have time to do the Luau?
