Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party~~October 19

DisneyLisa, your trip dates are almost identical to ours! We arrive on the 16th, but our first day in the parks is the 17th. Our last day is the 26th.

We'll be arriving at the podium at the LTT just as you are being seated, more than likely. We'll be the strange-looking group of five who are supposed to resemble Wizard of Oz characters!!!

I'll keep my eye open for you. I'm trying to decide whether or not to dress up...can't think of what to waer but I still have time. Do most adults dress up? If I don't, will I feel out of place?

This is the first time we've done MNSSHP, but from what I've read on these boards, it seems to be about a 50/50 split among adults.

But lots of people think it makes the complimentary picture you'll get so much more fun to be dressed in costume. We originally weren't going to dress up, but then decided what the heck . . .!!

I'm sure if you decide not to, you'll be among lots of others who chose not to, either!

Be sure to say Hi if you spot us . . . I'll be looking over the tables for a sign of a lime-green ribbon

It's official, we will be there!!! The tickets have been ordered for the 19th and the 24th. I can't wait. I don't think either of us will dress up though. But that can change.

We'll be there! I hope it will be the highlight of our trip. There are four of us........DH, DS6, DD4, and me!

I was planning on calling 60 days out until I read all of the posts today... I got PS for 7:05 for 4 people. There were some openings for large parties at 6:30, but that's the earliest. The CM first told me I couldn't do it until 60 days out, but then I told him about my friends on the DIS boards and he found it.

If anyone is thinking about going, call now!!!

We'll be there, wearing our ribbons. We are there from the 18th to the 26th. We wanted to do 2 weeks buy our daughters gymnastics coach says no . But we are going to have fun the week we are there!

It is so funny, all of our trip counters are the same!

Hi,

We will be there too... Dalmations, Horace and Jasper (I think). They still want me to put on my Cruella costume but that wig gets hot and crazy (truly Cruella like!).

I am not completely clear on what to do with my lime colored ribbons.... get them at the store and then pin them on???? My husband will think that I have gone truly gone off the internet & Disney deep-end, but WHO CARES???

Hi, Tithonia . . . welcome to the DIS !!

Most folks pin on their ribbons or simply tie them to backpacks, strollers, etc. I don't know if you saw this on other posts, but Home Depot has some really cool lime-green paint samples in the shape of Mickey's head (check the Disney paint section). I think it's called Alien Green.

Anyway, lots of folks are picking up these free samples, laminating them, and then using glue to attach a pin backing,

I'll be looking for Cruella & dalmations wearing lime-green on the 19th. If you see a strange Wizard-of-Oz looking group of five, stop & say hi!

Got our tickets today can't wait to go. Also called today for PS to Liberty tree Cm insisted that I had to wait until 60days out I finally talked him into checking got one for 7:35 it amazes me that these boards know more than the poor CM working the phones.

we can't wait to go - we were at our first mnsshp last year and can't wait until this year - we're going to bring extra people - so besides us (dh, dd (13), & ds (11)) we're bringing my parents, brother, sister in law & sister - they don't know what they're in for - we're arriving on the 17th for wilderness lodge and food and wine festival - can't wait

Me (DH) and DW will be there. Its are first MNSSHP. First October trip. Should be a great time. Still debating on dressing up or not.

If you buy the tickets in advance you get a $3 discount. Depending on how many are in your party, this could add up.

Also, I would buy them in advance just so I know that I already have them and don't have any worries when I arrive.

With the Fairytale Package you just never know how many people will be there when you are and they just might want to go to the MNSSHP too. If you buy them in advance you know you will be able to get into the party too.

OH yeah! We HAVE to meet. We are staying at All Star Movies. I need to remember to bring my pics for you to see. Maybe we can meet up for a meal (or two). hehe

Speaking of tags, I still haven't figured out the whole how you get tagged thing. I've specifically asked for both of mine.

Hope we do get to have a DIS mini-meet at the party since so many of us will be there.
