Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party~~October 19

The PS situation for the Liberty Tree on Oct 19th just gets stranger and stranger.

If you've read my earlier posts, you may know that we already have PS at 6:05 (after three phone calls to WDW-DINE). Well, it occurred to me today that I might want to get an earlier time if possible, so I called again.

The first CM I spoke with informed me that PS's for the LTT would not be available until 60 days prior. I explained that I already HAD a PS for that evening but was wanting something a little earlier. She then informed me that Oct 19th was all booked, no openings whatsoever.

So then I called back, got a different CM. Had no problem whatsoever in getting a PS for 5:10 on the 19th.

So if you're interested in a PS for the LTT on the 19th, DON'T GIVE UP!!! It seems like there's no consistency among the CM's who are taking our calls. Be persistent . . . . . . .

Just a tiny bump . . . anyone else gonna be there on the 19th??

Actually we will! 4 adults and one child. We are bringing friends along who have never been to WDW and they have a 4 year old grandson. It will be the first time we ever took a child to WDW (DH and I are DINKS).
It will be great seeing WDW through a childs eyes! :D

Hey MickeyCrazed,
We were once DINKS but finally took the leap and have a 14th month old. We too are taking friends that day to MNSSHP with their 3-year old. We are in DE too--where are you?

We'll be there, too! Our kids (ages 8 and 11) are in an alternate calendar school so we have a nice fall break. This is our first trip to Disney, and Halloween just happens to be my favorite holiday!

Hi indyanna . . . welcome to the DIS! :teeth:

Your first trip to Disney; what a wonderful time you're going to have!! There's just something extra-special about that first trip, especially when there are kids involved.

Hope everyone who has responded to this thread is planning to sport their lime-green!!

My hubby and I will be there on October 10th. We plan on going to Epcot on the 11th. We received free tickets the last two years to any Disney park. We volunteer for the Marathon they have in January.
We can't wait. :D

Thank you for the kind words Donna. I can't believe I reached 40 years of age without ever going to Disney, but I set a goal a few years ago that I would go during the year I turned 40 and this is it! Kind of puts a positive spin on "going over the hill". I don't know who is more excited - me or the kids! I'm having a heck of a lot of fun just anticipating this trip. Couldn't believe it when Disney offered the FT package. I'd already booked 4 days - now we get to stay 7. Sweet!!!

indyanna, if 40 is over-the-hill, then I'm really in a bad way. I'm celebrating my 50th at WDW!!

But we're all kids at heart
:D !!

Yippee!! Nice to see all us DISers goin' on the same night...hope I see more lime green ribbons than I did last year (only saw one...and that was at MNSSHP Halloween night!!)-my DH and I were discussing MNSSHP today actually. We will be there with my in-laws and probably my DH's brother and girlfriend. It will be everyone else's first real trip to WDW!! (how fun!) My DH and I are gonna wear what we did last year-DH is very adament that everyone else dress up too! (It is SO much more fun that way!)

DH and I will be celebrating our sixth anniversary the 25th and decided to take the plunge and stay a week this time since our APs expire on the 26th!! (gotta get our money's worth, you know??) ;) Can't wait!!

See you all there!
IVY :p

P.S. Any one want to arrange a candy swap?! I got way too many DOTS last year!

Donna, I turned 50 ,December 28th. One year for my birthday, (I think it was my 48th), my daughter took my husband and I, to MGM. The reason: I wanted to see the Osbourne Christmas lights.
It was TOTALLY awesome.
:)

I just got our tickets for the MNSSHP!! Does everyone wear costumes? I wasn't planning on it for myself but letting my 4 year old dress up.
Thanks!
Kathy

Just ordered our tickets for MNSSHP on the 19th!!! I'm new to the message board, but have already learned about the lime green ribbon and will be wearing mine!

We will be there :) It will be my daughter (8), son (6), my mom and I. See you all there :bounce:

We ordered our tickets today. There were still some available. We are getting so excited. LOL

We'll be having dinner at the LTT that evening at 6:05. Who else will be at the LTT that night??

And welcome to the DIS, Brenna !!:D

Thanks, Donna!!!

We haven't made plans for dinner that night yet. What is the LTT? Who knows? Maybe we'll be there?!

Brenna

Hi Brenna . . . The LTT is the Liberty Tree Tavern; they offer a character dinner which usually features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip 'n Dale. If you go on a Halloween party night, they will be dressed in their Halloween costumes. They come around and visit each table.

Makes for great photo ops!! Also, the food is served family-style at your table and is really good.

If you think you'd like to do this, I'd suggest calling Disney Dining right away (407) WDW-DINE. The MNSSHP is from 7:00 to 12:00 but you can get into the MK after 5:00 if you have Priority Seating; just tell them at the gate and show them your MNSSHP ticket. If you can get it, any time between 5:00 and 6:00 is especially good, since you will then be done eating at 7:00 when the party begins!!

Hope to see you there!! BTW, if you haven't seen a menu for the LTT, you can find one in the dining section of Deb Wills' site at www.wdwig.com

I ordered our tickets today & we have a PS for LTT for 5:45 pm...it's all starting to seem so real now :). I ordered a cake for DD's 16th birthday so anyone at LTT around that time will know we're fellow DISers..I'm also hoping to find some lime green ribbon. :)
