Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

Anyone else eating at LTT on the 3rd????

We'll be there at 4:35!!! Two un-dressedup adults, a 3-yo in Buzz Lightyear pj's that look like a costume, and 1-yo ds probably not in costume either, unless it's a homemade Woody outfit. Aren't we creative???

What kind of trick or treat bags are they....flimsy?
Will they let us bring our own bag in?

Should I try to change my PS from CP to LTT? Is there an advantage to LTT?

The bags are plastic. They're a little thicker and stiffer than what you get at the grocery store. You wouldn't have to worry about them busting or anything like that.

As for LTT, that's the only restaurant that has the characters dressed in costume.

Please see my thread entitled Heartbroken-MNSSHP!

We're desperate for tickets for Halloween! We just decided to go and booked the flights before we knew the 31st was sold out. It would be our first HP, my birthday and our 2nd DS first trip to WDW!

Please help if you can!

I have one adult ticket available for the 31st

I'd probably be in need of the ticket if you can hang on to it until Tuesday! Can I PM you then?

Thanks!

Im doing the MNSSHP Dance!!!!!!!! We (me, DH, DDs 9 and 5) will be there on Oct 14 and cant wait!!!! This will be our 2nd time to go, but Ive learned a bunch from this site and just wanted to say thanks for all the great tips. Just cross your fingers that I can get DH to dress up (even just a bit).

Woo hoo, our tickets arrived the other day. The kids are pumped and so are the adults (me & DH). Hey BamaDisney, this is our first time for the HP, what can we expect, crowd-wise? I know that the evening crowd is supposed to be lighter than the one during the day. Will we actually be able to ride Space Mountain? My DD7 is just hitting that 48" mark and we're looking forward to riding it. We'll be there on the 8th. Where in Bama are you, BTW? We're in Columbus, on the GA/AL border about 30 minutes from Auburn.

This will be my first MNSSHP as well as the first for my sister, my friend and my mother. I was so thrilled to read all your tips etc. I learned a lot and forwarded some of the content to my fellow travelers.

I ordered a Mrs. Potts costume from disneystore.com the other day. It was on sale and I do love Mrs. Potts. Isabella isn't going on this trip to WDW (grownup girls trip this time) but she's dressing as Belle in the fancy crushed red "velvet-like bodice accented by shimmering faux-organza and lace" for her school party and for trick-or-treating. I thought we'd look cute together as I'll be helping with the school party and of course walking with her while she goes trick-or- treating.

BUT THEN two things happned: First it occured to me that I'm letting myself in for lots of "I'm a little teapot short and stout" comments  :o

AND I re-read the Disney guideliines for costumes so kindly posted by Baloo and found They should not interfere with their ability to board and unboard attractions and WDW transportation system. Mrs. Potts is, I fear, a mite cumbersome for riding rides, the bus etc.

SO Mrs. Potts is going back and I've ordered a Daisy Duck costume instead.;)

Thanks Baloo! I owe ya one.::yes::

Those will be fine. I see lots of little girls dressed in them, not just during Halloween.

Jude-we will be at party on 26th also. DH, I, DD(5 1/2-Wendy), DS(3 1/2-Peter Pan), DD(21 months-Tinkerbell). I think I'm going to purchase a Captain Hook hat for DH and I may dress up as a pirate-just white shirt & capris. Can't wait for our 1st MNSSHP!

Bamadisney and rcraw54525- Hey! We are from Alabama too! We live in Huntsville and will be doing MNSSHP on Oct. 14th. We will eat at LTT at 4:30. We will be at the Poly. It will be DH, DD8, DD5, DD2 and me. Costumes to be announced soon. Look for us!

Hi, Alabama (and Georgia!) people! ;) (Can't say Bama people cause football season starts this weekend!) We're in Auburn. Going to MNSSHP 10/18, so I guess we'll miss all of you, but I wanted to say hi!!!

I would like to see a raise of hands of all of those going to the party on October 26th. I think I have only read a handful of posts at least on this thread.

We are going to our first MNSSHP and dd (4) will be going as Woody, and ds (1) is going as a Baltimore Raven's either football player or fan.

We have LTT PS at 5:25. This is our first time there also.

Juliewent- War Eagle! I was born in Auburn and gratuated from Auburn University. I am married to an Alabama grad.
Hope you have a great trip! Are you dressing up? Will you arrive in Orlando before the 18th? We leave the 15th.

We're arriving on the 14th and staying til the 18th, just a quick getaway. Oooops. I meant to say we're going to MNNSHP on October 17. I've gotten so scatter-brained lately.

Julie
