Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

Disneymom and Samantha

See you both there - we too have 5.15pm ps's for LTT on the 26th.

Sue

Hey Sue & Samantha!

I noted to look for you in my PassPorter. When it gets a little closer please let me know what you're all wearing. My family is still undecided yet between Toy Story/Peter Pan or Snow White. I told dh about this surprise and he liked the idea. We've never eaten at LTT before & have never been there for MNSSHP. I'm sure that it will be a treat!!

Hi, I called about my tickets this week. I'm not sure why mine are taking so long to get here, but she had me on record to received them by Monday** Is there a AP night for the party? What does this do for AP holders? Anyone know? Thanks!

I found a blouse on ebay that'll work for a Mary Poppins costume! Now I just need a skirt, a hat, and a red belt of some sort.

FYI...

Well, I was very happy to get my tickets on Thursday!!!::yes:: Two adults and 2 kids for October 31!!!

And I was very happy they were the correct date and quantity, unlike some of us here.

And I was very happy I wasn't double charged like some others here.

Well, today I go and check my mail and there are 6 more adult tickets for me for October 31!!

I checked my CC and I was not charged.

I just got off the phone with the Ticket Office and she could see that there were 2 orders for me; one for 4 tickets, the correct one, and then one for 6 tickets, the incorrect one. She could also see that I was not charged for those 6.

She told me to please return them.

I can't believe how messed up the party ticket sales process has been this year!

I had to call DW to see where my tickets were in the process. I was surprised to find out that they had my tickets process date for Friday, when I ordered them on the second day! Since I've been reading that some of the other Disers have already received their tickets, I had to call them to check on them. I hope that they do show up in this week's mail! I'll post when they do**

jtjarvis--Have you called about your ticket order? What did they say? I would have thought you'd have yours earlier in the week.

I ordered my tix last Sunday (Mom's Day) for the party on the 8th....still no tickets. :( I do have my ticket order #, so I'm not really worried for myself yet.

Got my 3 tickets for the 24th two days ago; the correct amount and date and everything! We got Mickey, Goofy and Minnie. :D I already "called" Goofy.:p I don't know if I will dress up, or perhaps just buy a Halloween-ee tshirt.

I am so happy I will get to put faces to your names! I am probably going to be a pooper and not dress up. My little DS will be a Red Sox player and so far DD wants to be Bo peep. Just look for the 2 kids with the huge beautiful eyes and long lashes. That is what everyone notices!
Hope to see you guys there and let me know who to look for!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to get your opinions on this: which time of year is it best to visit Disney Word - Halloween or Christmas? I'm planning vacation for later in the year, and I'm really torn as to when to go! Any input would be greatly appreciated! :)

That's a TOUGH one! I love both and have been to both the MNSSHP and MVMCP. I would only do an early to mid-Dec. trip - not too close to Christmas if at all possible. As for MNSSHP - I'd avoid any night that's within a few nights or the actual night of Halloween.

If having a little more time to save money would be helpful to you, I'd go to MVMCP this year and then maybe go to MNSSHP nexttime. If you don't need to save, and you must pick one, ask yourself which is your favorite holiday?

There is SO much to see all around Disney World (resorts, other parks, etc.) in December. The decor is WONDERFUL! MNSSHP, on the other hand, is FABULOUS, but limited to the MK and only if you have the ticket. There are a few Halloween decorations that are left up during the entire month, but most of them "appear" (like magic) for the party.

Hi DznyDreams! No, my tickets did not get here yet! I was actually out of town this weekend and pretty much expected to roll in today and see them in Sat.'s mail -- but that didn't happen.

However, as from Cinderpals' post, I think my tickets, although ordered the first weekend, have gone out later than the others. I might persuade myself to give it a little time because I suspect my situation is the same as the other later-mailers. If they don't show up soon, I'll call with my confirmation number and ask them to re-send them if it appears they've truly gotten messed up.

Boy, won't it be great when we all have our tickets in hand—the correct number, no more, no fewer, and for the correct dates! pirate: princess:

Hi, I received my tickets on Saturday!! I ordered on the second day they were available for sale, but they were processed much later. I have four tickets: Goofy, Mickey, Donald and Minnie!!! They're really cool!! Mine, are for the 31st***

Oh no, am I now the only early orderer without tickets yet?!

But I am glad for you Cinderpals... and everybody else, lol... :jester:

Beattyfamily, perhaps mine are being sent to you-- please let me know :p

Hi Everyone, I just ordered our tix today for Friday, 10/1. Now after reading this I'm wondering if I should change to Sun, 10/3 to avoid FL resident crowds. We depart on Mon. 10/4, but not until late afternoon. I'm travelling w/DH and 3 kids - 7, 6, and 3. What are your thoughts? Thanks so much for this post! I would've completely forgotten to order tix (I've been off the boards for a few months) if it weren't for you Baloo!

1. What exactly is MNSSHP? WHat are the dates in October, 2004 for this event?

2. How do u get tickets? Do u have to be a disney-hotel guest?
When do they go on sale for Oct, 2004? How much?

3. Can I purchase tickets when i get there @ the TTC?

4. If this in in the Magic Kingdom, and the MK closes early usually in October, does this MNSSHP mean that it will be held AFTER MK CLOSES??

5. Do you ALSO NEED to use a full-day from your Hopper Pass to get into the MNSSHP?? or do u just need to buy the MNSSHP tickets?

Thx

2. How do u get tickets? Do u have to be a disney-hotel guest?
When do they go on sale for Oct, 2004? How much? Call 407-WDisney and order them with a credit card. No, you do not have to be a Disney hotel guest. They are on sale now!

3. Can I purchase tickets when i get there @ the TTC? Maybe- depends what night you want to go- Halloween nights and the nights right before it typically sell out before hand

4. If this in in the Magic Kingdom, and the MK closes early usually in October, does this MNSSHP mean that it will be held AFTER MK CLOSES?? Yes, it is held from 7-midnight and the park closes to the general public at 6

5. Do you ALSO NEED to use a full-day from your Hopper Pass to get into the MNSSHP?? or do u just need to buy the MNSSHP tickets? No, you do not need to use a full day park hopper...your MNSSHP ticket gets you in starting at I believe 4 or 5 PM

Thx

Thank you so much! I think I'll aim for Christmas this year, and Halloween the next. Thanks for your excellent suggestion! :)

Will DH and I feel stupid if we dress up?

I thought it would be fun as DH and I aren't partiers, so we don't usually go to Halloween parties. As I was reading some threads, so many people stated they were just going to wear Halloween T-shirts.

Do adults really dress up at MNSSHP? I just wanted to clarify that so we don't look ridiculous around the resort and MK on the day of our party.

Thanks!

P.S. Oh how I wish our tickets would come, but I just ordered them on the 9th, so I am trying to be patient....and it is getting harder!!
