Oh how funny another person from the UK, the last time we did a Disney cruise we were the only Brittish onboard which seemed really strange

I think It is probably me who has miss-understood I did warn Carol I was new to these forums!!

I thought that some kind person was collecting names of those people who wanted to be involved in FE as were happy to make our own, but ive probably got it all wrong!! maybe you would be kind enough to let me no what info you have on this??

What date are you going out to Florida? were going on 9th from Manchester until 30th.

We fly on the 3rd December and fly home on the 17th - to and from Manchester. We'be got 10 days in the parks before we hit the bahamas to relax.

Mum retires from work on the 2nd so it's her retirement celebration There's 4 of us all together across 2 cabin - mum, dad in one and me and my little bro in the other.

I prob got a bit confused about the FE - I wasn't sure we'd started organising it yet but when I think about it Carol's got all of our info. We've started gathering bits and bobs but it'll be good to get numbers etc so we know what we're doing.

Garreth (little Bro) and I have cruised with Disney before but although mum & dad are seasoned P&O cruisers they've never sailed with the mouse.

I don't think there were many if any brits on our last cruise either - we met a lot of Americans who were lovely tho.

I'm so excited to be going back and i know it'll be here before we know it and hopefully the $$ will continue to creep up so there'll be more money to spend on the essentials

Oh what a lovely retirement for your mum, I bet she cant wait??

Were cruising this time as a celebration for my mum & dads ruby wedding, and it will also be my DD 10th birthday on 15th December the day we are at CC!! - im looking for suggestions as to how to make her special day seem a special day for her as I don't want her to feel as though the day has come and gone with just the excitement of CC. Don't get me wrong I'd be jumping for joy if I had my birthday at CC but she is only a child so I don't think they look at things in quite the same way as we do!!

There are going to be 11 of us in total, me, DH, DD(13) DD(10) Mum&Dad and my bro, his wife and there DD(17), DS(6), & DS(2)

How do your mum&dad feel about sailing with the mouse??

We would love to do the FE, not entirely sure how they work as we didn't no anything about them the last disney cruise we did or how we go about getting our name on the list, I would be really grateful if you had any info on this - I did have a e-mail message from a nice lady called Carol who said she thought somebody called (think is was something like Matizz but cant quite remember!!) was organising FE, I did send her a message but as of yet I havn't had any reply, although maybe there on holiday - but then again iv'e probabbly done it all wrong as i'm not very good at all this forum stuff as i'm new to it all so am probably making myself look very silly by doing it all wrong

My DD's have been shopping today for there pirates outfits so thats another thing off the list

Oh my goodness, has this board gone haywire since I"ve been off. Just joking my friends. I do apologize for not being around ~ quite busy with work and haven't had time to read up on everyone joining and wanting to know info etc about FE's

Rita (Miztigg) is very busy. She's taking care of the list of names etc for the FE. I'll try to contact her and see how she is and if anything has changed. It looks like there's going to be quite a list. I have no clue as what to do, since this is my first experience regarding FE's.

But I do know how to do a lousy job of putting one together. What can I say - it's my first one and I'm not used to the new fandango "no sew" materials. Let me have the old fashioned sewing machine, where the stitches keep it together like it's supposed to.

We're going to have a good time...have to figure out names, ages and how many are joining the FE list. More info to follow...I hope

Hi Debra, (or would you prefer to be called Deb or Debbie?)

Welcome aboard. Gosh, I started picking up gifts for FE's than I realized, "Wait a minute, I don't know how many kids, boys/girls, ages, adults, male/females-I must be crazy"
So we bought enough to start, than stopped til we get a full list, and if we're going to split into groups. It would be senseless to buy/make gifts for everyone. Something to think about

I hope I can keep everyones name straight...I've already made a mistake and there weren't that many to answer to...I was a blonde as a baby - what can I say. Please, I don't mean any offense to the blondes out there

Check out the other sites on Disboards re: FE's, items to put in them, how to make them etc. You can get Disney patches at Holly Lobby, Pat Catan's, Michaels, and on line. K Mart has a large choice of Disney fabrics and so does Holly Lobby.

Any questions, ask here or on other threads on the Cruise disboards. We're more than happy to help you out....

Hey everyone, all I can say is "Woohooo!"

We are so excited to announce that me, my DH, and our 3 DDs (11, 8, 5 (almost 6)) will be joining you all on the Dec. 13th 4 night cruise. In addition to us we have 11 other family members traveling with us. For a total of 9 kids and 8 adults.

This is our first cruise ever, and December cannot get here fast enough. We actually booked our cruise last December and I have done lots of looking around for information but NEVER came across this discussion board, and never thought to even look for a discussion board. I am sooooo excited that we are now a part of it. Wish I would have found it sooner.

There is so much information here and I have to be honest my eyes hurt from trying to read it all. But I love it!

When I told my daughters about the discussion board and the other kids that are sailing with us they could not wait for me to get to know some of their parents, so they could possibly get to know some of the kids other than their cousins.

I have so many questions and don't know where to start. I think I will start with the whole door tag thing. Do you have to be a veteran cruiser to have one? Shadowryder, I am totally amazed at the talent of your designs. My husband and I totally want one.

Any tips you can give me regarding the type of clothing we should bring? I know it doesn't really get cold where we are going, but I just am not sure about what to bring. We are from Texas and it is never cold here, but when it is in the 60's we usually break out a light jacket cause that's a lot cooler than 102.

Oh and like Carol, we would love any suggestions on where to stay the night before as well.

I 2 have done one cruise before but never done FE, but it seems a massive task for one person to organize on there own
