A source I trust has confirmed that MJJ's last run will be on May 31. Expect similar reports very soon.

I made it a point to see it last week. Always a good one, now one for history.

I really enjoy that parade and it makes me sad that it is going to go. We've all known this was coming, but now that it's out there, it really saddens me. Let me ask this. As is, people really seem to clear out right after the parade. Most believe the reason it was pushed to so late in the day (3:45 instead of 3:00) was to keep people in the park later. Now that it's going to go, what time do you think most people will leave the park?

The parade was what got everyone to stay until 4pm or whenever, so I hate to think what will happen once that's gone, lol. I know they have to take it out because of the construction, but...

:rotfl2: Great minds think alike.

Maybe they'll offer more pay per events like the Harambe Nights thing? That way they get more money off you.

I know I'm being cynical, but I do not like the way Disney keeps adding events and entertainment you have to pay for separately. What happened to offering live entertainment in the parks as part of your admission ticket?

Bummer- that's one of my all time favorite parades. Its just so upbeat and fun. I really didn't think it would be around for our trip but I was hopeful. I too wonder what that will do to afternoon crowds at AK.

I agree. I don't even like the MK parties, or I guess I should say the way they horde the holiday parades for only the party nights.

I have to be honest....I am glad the parade is going. The music was good, but the parade itself was on the crappy side. The best floats were deck thing tied to the back of trucks. The puppets were cool but a lot of it was random people from the park waving in little seat things. The parade was also bad at clogging up the walk ways. So can not say I am sad to see it leave.

Agreed. Good riddance. I'd rather ride Everest 14 times.

That's so sad! Are they replacing it with a different parade? Only got to see it once in passing at AK this February...
