Does anyone know where I can buy one at either DL or DCA? We will be there in June and I am afraid they will run out of them. My disney bathroom really needs this. haha Also does anyone know the cost of them? I know at WDW they are $22.95 but I heard at DCA they are only $11.95. I am wondering what you all may know. Thank you so much!

You can only get it at Disneyland at the Paradise Pier Hotel Surf's Up restaurant AFTER breakfast hours (those hours are character only meals, no kitchen sink offered then). It costs about the same, $22, and it is HUGE! Big fun! :thumbsup2

Apparently there's a new, smaller one now available at Clarabelle's in DCA.

They are available at Clarabelle's in DCA. They are replacing the Red Car Trolley Sundae container(Or so we've heard???).

This is different from the "Kitchen Sink" available at PCH Grill.(That one is enormous, and costs a lot more than $11.95)!

We can't wait to try one in 2 weeks!:)

oohhhh, WHY did I even look at this thread??! Now, I want one!!!

Ditto! And I just ATE some ice cream!!!!!

BTW, I wish Disney could bring back the old Fantasia ice cream Carnation used to make
(Cherry, Banana, and Pistachio). Loved that stuff!

It's so cute! Hopefully DLR doesn't decide to raise the price to match WDW! (I can't figure out why the two have such a big rice difference. They look the same and both have three scoops of ice cream.)

Ummmmm I don't know about WDW but the Kitchen Sink at the PPH is not 3 scoops.....
Kitchen Sink - Ice Cream (Ten scoops!) and Whipped Cream served in a Kitchen Sink and tell us what you don't want on it! $21.99
It looks like the one at WDW is also 10 scoops (but couldn't find anything ro confirm that) and the one at Clarabelle's is only 3.

At Disney World there is a Kitchen Sink dessert at Beaches & Cream at the Beach and Yacht Club that has 8 scoops of ice cream, toppings, whip cream etc. It is similar to the PCH sundae.

However, within the last few days they've announced another Mickey's Kitchen Sink sundae that looks just like the one at Clarabelle's, but at Disney World they have it priced at $22.99. Both the DW one and Clarabelle's are described as having 3 scoops of ice cream, but what a price difference!
Here's an article with photos of the signage:

Yeah, as Purple Figment said, I wasn't talking about the Kitchen Sink sundaes at either PCH Grill or at Beaches and Cream. I was talking about the cute new souviner-based sundaes at Clarabelle's and Plaza Inn/Beaches and Cream. I think theyre being called the Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae or Mini Mickey sundae to differentiate them from the Kitchen Sink sundae that you are thinking of.

That is so going to be our snack one day!! We can share it (im not much on Ice cream) and I can have the sink :cool1:

I am so excited to get one---just for the container since I am not much of the ice cream type. I hope they haven't sold out by June! Keeping fingers crossed. haha

Oh my gosh!!! Those are SOOO cute! Now why couldn't those have been available when we were there in February?!!

I just found out about this today b/c of my subscription to DFB.

Someone could make a lot of $ just buying the thing w/o ice cream & putting it on ebay. A *TON* of people were on that blog asking about it. If it's just $12 @ DL...I'd gladly buy one for $15 given that it's $23 at WDW. If any enterprising person has it on ebay, just PM me the username. I'll on that like white on rice, on a paper plate in a snow storm. :rotfl2:

There must be something else going on here that isn't quite clear yet. I can't even imagine why there could be that huge of a markup between the two coasts for the same exact item.

My feelings exactly. And when I was searching last night I only found references to the bigger ones at Beaches & Cream but nothing said how many scoops there were. But I was also in a hurry and didn't spend that long searching. lol

I'm thinking that the one at WDW is probably closer in price to the one at DCA (talking about the smaller one here), at least I would hope so. Sheesh....

IDK what the difference is. Here is Disney Food Blog review. It includes pictures of the one from WDW at MK & BnC. I'm completely serious about buying it off someone on ebay. I do paypal & everything.
