Mickey's Halloween Treat question

Okay, so here is where I'm confused. We have tickets to attend the Halloween Treat party. But, do we leave the park early, go back to our hotel, change the kids into their costumes and then re-check back into the park?? Anyone want to share what they did last year?

The reason I'm asking is this-- a few years ago we went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at WDW. We didn't know that you could stay in the park and pick up your armband. So, we left the park, went to our hotel and changed into warmer clothes. We came back at the specified time and the line was LONG! By the time we got back into the park we had missed the first show and another event. :sad1: Anyway, I'm hoping to avoid that problem this year at the Halloween Party but have no idea how the whole thing "works". Hope this makes sense! Thanks for any advice!!

They close CA an hour before MHT. So everyone leaves, then get in line. Last year we got there about an 1 before and the line had already started.

We are considering going 10/24-10/27 I know that DLR will be doing Halloween stuff during that time... but is it all Halloween all the time? My question is because it'll be my 3 year old's 1st experience and I want to make sure the princesses will look like she expects etc... and not dressed up in Halloween dresses (Belle is in yellow, and Cinderella in Blue--you know what I mean?) If it is ALL Halloweeny, then maybe we should wait until early November? Anyone been there who can fill me in on the theming?

thanks,

we were there in October last year and the princesses are not in Halloween costumes. Other characters are, but the princesses look "normal". :)

The Princesses, and all other face characters, are in their normal attire during Holloween time, so not to worry about that.

Costumed characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, ect) will have on Holloween costumes, which are very cute, and every year they dress up as something different, so it's fun to guess with your kids what they might dress up like "this year".:rotfl:

Ok, where the heck do you buy the tickets for this? We are going in Ocotber and I'd love to go. I checked Disneyland.com and can't find anything!

The tickets are only on sale for Ap holders right now, Im not sure when they go on sale to the general public... I think I heard in August..

They went up this year - I believe they are $24.95 for AP holders, and $29.95 for everyone else.

I just bought my AP tickets--$24. After August 1 they will be $39. I assume that is for general public.
