Mickey's Halloween Party?

Alright, i'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place but i'm new around here. Okay, so i'm going to Mickey's Halloween thing tomorrow night but i'm a little confused. Is it only at California Adventure or can you go over to Disneyland too? Because someone said that if you go over to Disneyland they make you change back into regular clothing and I was planning on wearing a costume. I was under the impression that the Halloween event was in both parks. And how exactly does it work if you go during the day? Do they tell you to leave at a certain time because I wanted to take my sister for the day but I didn't know if they were going to kick us out early. Sorry but the website doesn't answer all my questions. Also, do they let you in early because it says that it starts on 6:30 but I was going to show up about 4:30. Maybe someone can help me with the details because I don't want to show up all dressed up at Disneyland to find that i'm the only one and look like an idiot. Thanks for any help!

I don't really know much about Disneyland but I'm just responding to suggest that you ask this question on the Disneyland board. You'll get a lot more responses there.
