Mickey's Halloween Party Tickets

Hotel rates. It looks like the Halloween party is a no go for us. I'm trying to still create an experience that would be a Halloween celebration in place of the party so I was going to get a room at the Disneyland Hotel and do that instead.

You could always do something off property. There is Rise of the Jack O'lanterns http://www.therise.org/site/index El Capitan theater is showing Halloween movies this month (we are going to Nightmare Before Christmas 4D). Not sure how scary it is but Knotts also has a Halloween party, so does Sea World and LegoLand.

Was this the day of the party? Is that how it works that each day is sold on the day of at hotels if they have any at all?

Yes, they only sell tickets on the day of the party. Starting at 6 am.

I did get halloween party tickets at GCH for the Oct 5th party. They had a line at the front desk when they go on sale at 6am. They sold at least 50 while I was in line, and I was biting my nails hoping I could get some before they sold out!

I first went down at about 5:40 am, and there was no line. I went to get coffee and came back at 6 am on the dot, and there were about 5 people in line.

I had no problem using the tickets from stub hub last year. Stub hub also has a guarantee. However, it's not the ideal place to get tickets just because of the price.

I have a word of caution if you are buying from somewhere other than Disney directly. When we were at last night's party, the family in front of us (mom, dad, 2 little kids decked out in their costumes) had tickets that looked different than mine. They were plastic (like a gift card or annual pass) rather than the paper ones I received when I ordered from the Disneyland website.

When it was their turn to go in, the CM informed them that the tickets were for MNSSHP in Florida. They were quite surprised, and looked sad as they were turned away. The CM suggested they visit Guest Services to see if anything could be done.

Anyway, just be sure you are buying the correct tickets.
