Mickey's Halloween Party, Halloween night!

I know there is already a thread for the Halloween Parties, but I was hoping to get some advice specifically for the night of Halloween. Does anyone know if it is sold out? Is it one of the more crowded nights being Halloween? Is there a place to see the fireworks "off the beaten path"? We have been to Disneyland twice, but never at Halloween time, so any advice would be gladly taken!

Ya I was pretty surprised actual halloween still had tickets available. We are going that night too for the first time so hopefully someone who has done halloween night before can give you some good tips...and I can eavesdrop.
