Please can you help me decide what to wear when we go to the Halloween party for the first time in September.

Can anyone come up with ideas? Anyone have any photos of costumes they have warn at previous parties?

you can buy costumes very cheaply over there. the americans are more into fancy dress costumes, than the usual witches, devils etc
we have been as supergirl, superman, robin, pumpkin, witch, dorothy, medieval princess, grease girl etc!!
rest of family been as batman, spiderman, skeleton, hulk, gangster!

we went as a couple of hippies last year!

Me and MrNeo at last year's MNSSHP

We're still trying to decide what to dress up as this year, we're actually thinking of going to 2 parties! MrNeo is just so picky, too many things he doesn't want to go as

We went as dalmations, it was such an easy costume.

white shorts
Cheap white tshirt, use blackfabric paint for the spots
white cap, sew on ears
collar made of ribbon
face paint

we were so glad we dressed up, Cruella was fab

It's our first party this year! I have an Alice costume, and we decided last night DH would come as Indiana Jones. They don't exactly match but I'm just pleased he will join in... Plus we decided Indi would definitely try it on if he ever met Alice!!!

Where did you buy them Netty? I'd love to pick up one for MNSSHP at DLP. Might be easier for me to find larger sizes over there too!

walmart and kmart sell loads of them, they do sizes to, also there are a few shops you can go to, one we used was Party City, this is by Walmart on the Osceola parkway :thumbsup2

We kepy umming and ahhing over cotumes last year, but in the end Jack bought a Mickey vampire T-shirt and wore little fangs (didn;t stay in long with all the candy!) and I bought a Minnie witches hat!

Meant we were comfortable, but still halloweeny.

When you come back would you mind telling me if they have larger costumes please? :flower3: I am trying to make my own but would be much better if I could buy one....

OK, will do. I made one last year but wasn't at all happy with it. I'll buy one if I can.

Just got back yesterday. Went to Walmart's Supercenter on 192. Couldn't see any Halloween costumes so asked an assistant who laughed in my face and said: "Halloween's in October and we're only in August now". (She obviously didn't know about Mickey's first NSSHP on 14 September!) However she said they'd have Halloween costumes in in September. Good luck!
