We are planning a Californian road trip in September/October this year and we plan to spend 4 days at Disneyland, I was wondering when the dates of the party will be released, I'd love to do this too if the dates work out.

DLR doesn't usually announce the dates for MHP until mid-to-late summer. Last year, they announced the dates in mid-July (July 15), which was a bit later than normal, but sometime between the end-of-June and mid-July seems pretty common (these were the dates they announced the party dates for the last few year 7/1/2011, 6/25/2012, 7/1/2013, 7/2/2014, and 7/15/2015).

Assuming there are no changes to the basic party, as long as you go to DLR in October, they should be having the parties. For the last several years, the parties have started on the last Friday in September, but with September 30th being a Friday this year, it's hard to say if they'll wait that long to start the MHP. Still, as long as you go in October, it seems likely that they should have started up with the MHPs by then (there is usually a party on Fridays, but the other days of the weeks seem to vary, so there really isn't any "set" pattern).
