Mickey's Halloween Party 2012 -- Check In

Does your ticket say October 23rd on it?? I'd make sure they didn't send you the wrong ticket.

Yes. I checked the ticket again as soon as I noticed the discrepancy.

Yay for getting your tickets Kristin!

:cool1: Just ordered my tickets with an unactivated AP for September 28th :cool1:

I had to laugh at "I hope we are making your hold time more magical" ahahaha. I love Disney and their sometimes over the top cheesyness.

I guess the misprint is on the ticket. I called the AP line and they confirmed the website had the correct times. The CM wasn't thrilled when I had informed her tickets were going out with the wrong party times.

That seems like a pretty big deal to me to have the wrong time on the tickets. Being an obsessive planner I would check and triple check the time but not everyone is as weird as me. If I missed an hour because the ticket was printed wrong I would not be happy.

We'll be there on October 5th. I'll probably be wearing my peasant Belle dress, not sure what hubby will be wearing.

I will be there, along with Mr. Mears, for the October 12th party. We will be at the resort Oct 12-14th :D

I saw your login name and had to ask, are you going to go as Mrs. Meers from Thoroughly Modern Millie? That is one of my absolute favorite movies.

I have plans on going but I don't know which day yet! I'm planning on going as a Mouseketeer.

Ack I want to go, so put me down for Sept 28....now just gotta convince DH!

We wont be dressing up, I might make us matching shirts or something to wear.
I am sure the kids will want to dress up though....

Please put us on the list as coming on Tuesday 10/9/12! I just bought our tickets - with the Disney Visa you can get them earlier than 7/16 (and they were only $46 apiece!!!!!) Mom, Dad and I will be there - I'll be a fairy in a pale green dress (not Tinkerbell) and Dad may be Indiana Jones. Mom's not dressing up. I'll keep an eye out for others on the list for that day - would be great to say hello!

Got our tickets in the mail yesterday for October 19. We'll be going as the Incredibles. I'm still trying to talk my parents into dressing up.

This thread is so fun to see who else is going on your date. Thank you iKristen.

I'm thinking about buying tickets for Oct. 19th but would like to save a little money first. Any insight on if/when these will sell out?

Just bought tickets for Sept 28th!! We had not planned on going this year (seems to be our theme the last few years :thumbsup2) but talked DH into it again. :p So count me, DH and our 12 yr old son! I think I will look for shirts for us as DS says he is "too old for costumes" and last year we barely got him to wear a hat and be Indiana Jones. Maybe I will see if any of the DISign folk out there have something for me to put on a shirt.
I will do my best to hustle back with pictures and reports of candy and such! :cool1::joker:
Later,
Sue

Well, family of five planning to go Oct 31, but we can't buy our tickets for another two months because we want the Ultimate Experience! Although the Tours CM to whom I spoke on the phone said the packages might be offered around mid-August rather than having to wait for 30 days out.
Anyone have experience booking this? When do tickets become available?

I believe we're heading down oct 26th! we do hhn the night before then disney the following day. I am so stumped on costumes though. I wanna be Minnie but my other half won't be Mickey :(

Finally I made it through all the postings! :surfweb:
To address the question about the fee with getting your tickets, I wanted to put in my recent experience. I went online as an AP and purchased our tickets for Sept 28th and didn't pay anything extra and was e-mailed the tickets. But then I did this on the 10th so I'm not sure if the date being after the 9th had anything to do with it. Sometimes the Disney experience is a little inconsistent, especially with information specifics. I think that is where the DIS boards come in! :cloud9:

PS those of you going really need to check out the Super Thread. Just about any question you may have is over there. Plus LOTS of pictures!!!

The shipping fee was for tickets purchased over the phone that were physically mailed. If you get an e-ticket through online purchase, there is no shipping fee.
Still unsure why my shipping fee was waived while others had to pay the $5.
