Mickey's Halloween Party 2012 -- Check In

I will be there Oct. 15 with my daughter and her husband and DS(3). Not sure how we are dressing yet.

That's the day we're going too! My sister and her family can't make it, so I gave their tickets to some people at church.

As for costumes for the rest of us that are going:
Sister: Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton version)

Me: Cinderella (I got the adult costume version from the Disney Store. I ordered the Minnie Mouse one too, but it was way too short in the torso for me, so sparkly, Cinderella it is!)

Husband and daughter: Calvin and Hobbes although this could change once the costumes are available in stores

Youngest daughter: Ariel

Mother-in-law: Not sure yet, but she has a "Pink Ladies" jacket that would be really fun.

I'll update if our costumes change.

We are on the list for October 12th, but we also just booked the Ultimate Experiene for October 9th! Very exciting!

:cool1:

Ok people I need your help I have my mind set on going in my pjs to the party on the 19th but want to pass it off as sleepy - my question does DL sell sleepy hats???

Otherwise I may need to pick something up when I arrive

We are going Oct. 2

I will be witch Minnie Mouse
DH Sorcerer Mickey
DD1 Athena
DS Bilbo Baggins
DD2 Merida
DD3 Minnie Mouse

Bought my October 2nd tickets last night. Not sure how accurate this is, but guy on phone said let me see if there are tickets available for that night....oh wow there are a LOT of tickets for that night...looks like you picked a good night to go..." lmbo

Anyone have any suggestions for a King Fergus costume for my DH. Our DD is going as Merida. I'm finding plenty of green renaissance style dresses that I can wear for the Queen but the only kilts I'm finding are either red or ridiculously expensive. Any thoughts? I am not up for sewing something.

Awesome news as that is the night we are going too!

Love the fact that we'll get to see the fireworks without having to fight the crowds as much.

Finally purchased our Halloween Party tickets last night for the 19th! So excited! Also, we got all the costumes, Mike, Sully and Boo for my two nephews 5 and 7 and my DD18months! They're going to be so cute! Still deciding if I want to dress us, but I think I might as I am 30 and my dress up days are limited!

I just wanted to give a heads up that Disney Visa cardholders can get a great discount on Halloween party tickets for select dates. I paid $46 per ticket plus a $5 shipping charge (they must be printed since you have to call to get the discount). It's still a great deal and saves over the advance purchase price.

Yay! Oct 2nd is our party date too!!

Anyone know what restaurants will be open for a quick dinner?? We are doing the party with me, DH, DS, my Mom & my grandparents. So "fast food" type options are out as my grandparents don't eat that stuff.

I was hoping for French Market. Any ideas if it will be open around 6ish?? And yes- we must do dinner in the parks. ;)

I checked the first page, the last update was August 14. I can't remeber when I posted to this thread, but it very well could have been after the 14th. That's a good thing, cause costume plans have changed.

Our party date is the 12th of October. Monkey will be Mario (from Mario Bros) and Diva will be Sally (from NBC). I'm still gonna be a goddess (Athena, cause I'm still to plump to pull off an Affroditie). See ya there:thumbsup2
