Mickey's Grand Welcome

I'm really not sure where to post this so I'll start here. Has anyone done Mickey's Grand Welcome and regretted it?

I've ordered the smaller version and would like to know if people that have ordered it, big or small, have been completely happy?

It's my 6 years old son's first visit and I want it to be magical. I've just about begged to have it delivered our first day but they refuse. I'm wondering if it will be as special the second day?

I'm going to get a small package from Memories by Betsy because I can get that the first day and I'm really indecisive about ordering a bigger package from Betsy or sticking with the Grand Welcome. Help!!!

I too have been to the parks several times and have not participated in Mickey's grand welcome,but would like to. Hope there are no regrets.

I have yet to read a report of someone disappointed with the Grand Welcome. I am curious though, why will they not deliver on your arrival day? Are you getting in very late?

We arrive at noon. They refuse to deliver on the day of in case you change rooms, your plane doesn't arrive, etc. I asked if I could call when we're there to confirm everything and get it delivered and they said no because they have to plan for staffing in advance. I also tried going through our concierge because we are staying Club Level with no luck. The concierge said that they have tried to get them to do it day of arrival and they refuse. We've decided to go ahead and do it for the second day. I'm sure it will be just as big a surprise.
