It sounds like a lot of people are buying their tickets now, so I have 2 questions:

1. Do they every run out of tickets?
2. What happens to the tickets if you must cancel your trip?

They do run out on some days closer to Christmas I think but it would be a while before that would happen, at least I think so.

And the tickets are non-refundable so if you can't use them its kind of like oh well, but you can exchange them for a different date if you had to move your vacation. I did this last year with no problems.

If you want tickets, don't worry about getting them later on. The shows that will sell out, usually in mid-November, are the last Fridaynight shows. So, most likely the Dec. 17 party will sell out, but not anytime soon!! I got my tickets for Sunday, Dec 14, 2003 about 1 month before. Don't panic. Some of us just like to do this stuff early. We tend to overplan. So feel free to wait and be sure your travel plans are firm.

From what I've read, only the later shows (closer to Christmas) actually sell out. I just ordered mine early to get it over with!

Thanks, but uh-oh... I'm planning for 12/16, the 2nd to last night of the party... I'll wait until Oct-Nov once I buy airline tickets (once I do that there is no turning back anyway).

This may be a little off topic, but I thought that the Christmas party ran through New Years. The last date this year is December 17th. Am I mistaken, or is this a change from past years? Any ideas why?

No, it has always ended the week before Christmas; usually the Friday before. Then the Christmas parade and Christmas shows start running during the day Christmas week.
