We are going for our first free dining trip :yay: at the end of Sept, first of October. We're Disney veterans (multiple visits a year) and have eaten most places, however we haven't yet tried Boma or Mickey's backyard BBQ. My question is, should we give up 2 TS credits to take our kids (DS 4 & DD 2) to the BBQ or should we try Boma and then do Chef Mickey's breakfast the morning we check out?

Any opinions on the BBQ would be GREAT!! :cool2:

We did the BBQ with my 2.5 year old last summer. It was hot, crowded and the food was just ok...and my daughter LOVED it. Loved. Had the time of her life dancing with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Chip/Dale. We had a wonderful time watching her. I did go out onto the dance floor with her to make sure she didn't get trampled by some of the older kids and it wasn't a problem. It is a bit of a free for all, especially the first couple of dance sessions, but she didn't have a problem with it. It was all she talked about for months afterwards. We like Chef Mickeys too, but the BBQ was a really unique experience. I liked the ice cream and alcohol too. Heh.

:cool1:I think the age of your children 4 & 2 they will love Mickey's Backyard BBQ. They can dance and get close to all the characters. The food isn't the greatest and it does get crowded. Just get there at least 1/2 hour before. Also I think they will love Chef Mickey's as well. Plus the food is much better. Good Luck.
