I would love to hear from anyone who has done this. What did you think? What was the food like? What characters were there? How far in advance do you need to reserve? How many people are there? Sorry about all the questions! Is it actually at River Country?

Debs Hill - We just did Mickey's BBQ in July and it was good. I prefer the Hoop De Doo Rev. (we did this in 2000 and my son then age 6 laughed the entire time.) or the Luau, my son (age 7) loved it Mickey's BBQ. Yes the charcters are there they come out and do autographs (Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale & Goofy) they made about three appearances and everyone was able to see all charcters and get autographs they even dance with the kids, which kids love. They have a country band that plays and a line dance instructor and he teaches you about three line dances. The food is buffet style. They have BBQ chicken, ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, corn on the cob, cornbread, etc. the basic BBQ foods, they food was good. It is held at Fort Wilderness camp area under a big "shed" in the same area as Hoop De Doo, which is also right at River Country. I reserved my tickets about I think 120 days out, there was a lot of people I am not sure of the number but it was not so crowded that it was miserable. I would probably do this again on our annual trip, but wait a year or two.

Any others questions just let me know. Have fun! :Pinkbounc :bounce::jester::Pinkbounc
