Is the backyard BBQ hard to book? Is the food decent? We really want to try this one next year just looking for reviews.....Thanks

not sure how hard it is to book - if you have a date in mind call and see if there is availability if within 180 days.

definately worth it - loved it - one of the better experiences of our trip last year. food is good - it's buffet style, but good quality. ribs are especially good. We dont have it booked this year because we want to try all different things, but I keep looking at my schedule to see if I can work it in somehow

beer for the adults is unlimited and included, and no server to wait on so you can just go up and get it. same with ice cream for the kids - unlimited, included and in a help yourself cooler, so all you can eat mickey bars.

show/dancing were fun, character interaction great.

it's in an outside pavilion, but covered. we were there in July and it's warm. have seen some complain about bugs here, but honestly I was expecting to be swarmed by them and didn't have any???

I was just thinking about this one too. Does anyone know if it works with the Dining Plan?

Can you use your meal credits?

Does it take more than one?

Hard to book as they only offer it twice a week.
I'm 80 days out and staying for 10 days and I couldn't get in any of the 3 days we are staying over.
It takes 2 TS credits.

Easy to get into the Hoop De Doo Review though. Impossible for Ohana using the dining plan unless you want to pay out of pocket for a category one seat

When I called to check on the BBQ in June (sold out) but got HDDMR I was told that some months (July, August) (but not June like I needed) they have added Tuesday shows!

So I would call or check on-line for Tuesdays as well. The CM said they do not advertise the Tuesday show, but that it is offered during the most popular summer months.
