Mickey's Backyard BBQ question

How quickly does this getted booked? Since it is only twice a week, I thought it might get booked pretty quickly. Any chance of getting reservations now for the end of April? I haven't called yet because I'm waiting to see if my sister's family is coming down to DIS with us. My children are 5 and 3. Are they a good age for this, or would it be better to wait until they are a little older.

We as a family didn't like Mickeys Backyard BBQ. I think other character dinners are so much better ~ not worth the money.
