mickeys backyard bbq in rain???

we are scheduled to go to mickeys bbq this saturday, but there is a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms. should i cancel and just do it next time?? my sons are 4 and 20 months. what would you do if there were a chance of rain??

Backyard BBQ is under a large wooden roof...you will be OK !!

Mickey's BYB is in a pavilion of sorts, it has a roof over it. I would go, the food is great and there is much fun to be had by all! Your DS's will love it, rain or shine!

I agree plus this time of year with the humiditythey call for rain almost everyday and it wont, or last for a very short time and its over! Enjoy

We just went last Thursday 8/23. I haven't written my review yet...but I can tell you that if it does rain, it will not put a damper on the event. The seating area is large and fully covered. It could get uncomfortable if the wind were blowing the rain into the covered area...but my concern would be more for getting to the BBQ area and restroom breaks. I would just have your ponchos at hand, use them if necessary, but still anticipate a fun evening...where the entertainment happens would be fully protected from rain...we had a great time...I hope you do too.
