I am helping out a friend who has this show booked, what is the best way to get there from offsite? I have looked at the maps and it seems like Osceola Parkway/Victory Way/Buena Vista Drive/Bonnet Creek Parkway/Vista Bvld is a total pain of a route. Can you go to the Ticketing/Transport paypark entrance then North World drive/Timberline Dr/Wilderness Way route as it looks like you go through the car parking charges booth, do you go to the right hand booths and show your booking?

Any help gratefully accepted....

Yep you sure can-. Just show them your booking and should be fine. Not sure about the parking charge though. As the BBQ is in the evening then they should probably be past the point of paying for parking anyway.

Hope this helps :D

they are coming from Indian Creek so either they can go for World Drive or the Sherberth. Looking again The Sherberth/Osceola/Buena Vista Drv/Bonnet Creek/Vista Bvld route looks easier.

Do they have to park in that car park Wayne? Is the internal transport a Disney type bus? It is their first time ever there as a family and trying to pass on everything I can but the BBQ is something I know nothing about

I spotted that but the google maps street view but it had cones in front of the turn. Whether this is an early day thing and they remove them later I don't know.

They have closed the second car park off - everyone has to go through the security point now.

You can go through the MK toll booths just keep right and tell the CM they are going to the BBQ and you will be waved through.

Yes, you do have to park in the 'Circle D' Carpark and get a bus up. If they have the time and have been to a Disney park already or staying on site (so you don't have to pay) you can also park in the MK car-park and get the boat from outside Magic Kingdom. This might be a hassle for 'Newbies' but we allowed plenty of time and enjoyed the boat ride.

You may like to warn your friend to get there early; from memory you have to register then have your photo taken (if you want) and then wait for 'barn' to open. Just a warning it's self seating on long trestle tables. If they have young children and want the 'end' near the dance floor then get there early. When the 'barn' opens hosts have trays of drinks waiting - but you're better off walking straight through and having your choice of table and fetching a drink yourself (does that make me sound terrible -bet you have visions of me racing through to get the table I want - :rotfl:)

Thanks for all your replies, advised them to go through the MK parking way and sent on the tip about seating. Very much appreciated.
