Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Peanut Allergy

Our DS 5 has a severe peanut allergy. We were thinking about going to Mickey's Backyard BBQ in August. I've heard before that they used to serve peanuts on the tables. Do they still do that? Is this a safe place for kids with peanut allergies? Thanks for any help!

On the DISAbilities board you will find information about contacting Disney Special Diets. Do this, and ask them about the Backyard Barbecue. They will be able to find out if the Barbecue can make accommodations for a severely allergic child (up to and including not serving peanuts as table snacks at all on the day you go, if necessary.) If it's possible to arrange this, you likely would be able to do it only with advance notice.
