Mickey's Backyard Barbecue

I am considering doing this dinner show. Looking for advice from people who have gone.

We have two trips coming up - early October and pres. week in February. I'd rather do the BBQ in Feb. (we have MNSSHP for Oct.), but I'm concerned about the weather. Do they still hold the dinner in winter months and has any one been there?

I'm calling CR today, but I wanted to check with you guys first.

How's the show? How's the dinner?

We went first week of last November and it was nice. Glad we did it once but probably won't do it again. Food was good and plentiful (they kept the lines open until the very end). Show was cute. Character interaction was total chaos -- fun, but chaos. dd4 loved it but dd6 was not as impressed. The characters just kind of hang out on the dance floor with mobs of children around them. Mickey and Minnie did come by the table for autographs so you didn't have to track 'em down on the dance floor if you didn't want to. Sorry, I'm not sure if they are opened in February. Have fun!

So, it's just a sort of outdoor character meal? What kind of a "show" was it? How was the weather in November?
