Folks...
...
Thanks for the updates and the news, as always.

I will be having a big group of 17 people going to Mickey's BBQ at Fort Wilderness on a Tuesday night during my stay there. We will be renting a minivan for the group as well and staying at Old Key West.

I was wondering....I think I am going to drive the group to the Wilderness Lodge and take the bus or boat over to Fort Wilderness.....and then back. (I was even thinking of walking.....but the group my not be as much into walking as I am).

What do you guys think of this plan?

Thanks folks,
Jackson

Check with someone at WDW to find out when the boats shut down for the night. I seem to remember that they stop an hour after MK closes. I went to the last show of Hoop Dee Doo one year and was told that the busses are the only way home for that show because they stop the boats.
Walking would be hard late at night because the paths from Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge are not lit. I would be afraid of little creepies, especially snakes, I hate snakes.
Taking a car is another toughie because once you get to Fort Wilderness you have to park your car and go to the bus stop and take a bus over to the main area of FW. That sometimes takes about 20 minutes or more because you have to ride around the campsite dropping people off.
If I were you I would plan on taking the boat to dinner then the bus back to WL. Peggie

Thanks for your comments....you have good thoughts and I will take them into account. I think I am going to do what you said.

Thanks
