Anyone know where you can get a Mickey Waffle Maker? I saw one recently but now can't remember where (it was prob Woolies!)

They are reduced to £4.99 - ours has piles of them :thumbsup2

£4.99 wow I hope you got one, I got one last year, paid way more than that, and I'm still after a really easy batter recipe. Anyone got one?

I've tried the ones in the recipe book but I'm sure there must be a nicer one out there :)

The recipe I use is:-

4oz flour (whatever I've got, usually self raising)
1/4 pint milk
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon caster sugar (leave out if you want a savoury topping)
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg

(Makes about 4 waffles. Multiply up for bigger quantities)

Mix together in bowl with electric mixer. (Or put flour and baking powder into a bowl and blend in egg and oil. Add milk a little at a time. Mix to smooth batter with sppon)

Leave to stand for 30 minutes before cooking (I don't always do this but they are more successful if I do).

Add any topping you like.

P.S I paid £30 for my Mickey waffle maker and had to lug it home from Oxford Street!!

We use the mixture from Costco. It is about £6.00 a bag but it will last for ages as it's huge.

Snap :lmao: and I set out all our Ben and Jerrys as well :rotfl:

Mine just makes one big waffle at a time. The kids like theirs with lemon juice and sugar (like pancakes) - when staying at ASSp some years ago they'd take the lemon meant for cups of tea to squirt over their waffles (after having carefully removed the sausage and eaten separately!).

Thanks for the recipe Libby, the one is the booklet is too much for us. Going to use it for tonights pudding!

A good tip is to make more than you want, freeze them and my girls just put them in the toaster straight from frozen :thumbsup2

Our shop was out of them, oh well they probably weren't a good idea for the diet.
