Does anyone have the 4 slice Mickey waffle maker? Do you like it?

I really want a waffle maker so I was thinking about this one.

I have one and I  love it! I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago and its great!

Do you have the "now and then" waffle maker? It kinda looks like it makes thicker waffles and not like the flat pancake types.

We have the one that does Fantasia Mickey, Steamboat Willie Mickey and 2 others, with the stainless/black exterior. Is that the one that you mean?

It's the nicest waffle maker I have (out of 4--2 nice Belgian Waffle Makers and the Cinderella waffle maker that I wouldn't recommend to anyone). It uses more batter and makes a larger waffle than any of the others, which required a little tinkering with my recipe to get enough-but-not-too-much for the number of servings we need.

That waffle maker is the easiest to clean, releases the waffles easily and has the least problems with batter overflow. If they would only make one with 4 princesses, we'd be all set.

Yes, that is the one. Thanks. Looks like I'll be placing an order...

I'm wishing I'd have seen your post last night. My kids wanted "Disney Waffles" for dinner. Since DH ended up having to stay at work, I caved in. I should have taken pictures!

I don't have that one but I do have an older Villaware one that does a Minnie and a Mickey (front and back) and it's great. I can make filled pies in it, grilled cheese, waffles....etc.

And they are really easy to clean as well, and easy to use.

For those who have the "now and then", what is the size of the waffle? The mickey head is 4" and I didn't know if the now & then are bigger. I really like both and I'm having a tough time deciding. I like the mickey head shape but like the thickness of the waffles on the other ones.

I didn't know if I wanted this one:

or this one:

I might just order both and return one once they arrive...what should I do?

We have this one we got it for our wedding 9 years ago and we use it at least once (usually more) a week. We also have the one that makes 4 mickey heads. I like that one better only because I can start feeding the kids sooner. (It goes slow only making one at a time.) I usually have both of them going at the same time.

I have the single one too, love it! The only complaint is that it only makes 1 waffle at a time so it takes a bit of time to get waffles for everyone. It does cook them in about 3-4 minutes but when you're making 20 of them it takes a while.

we have the one with 4 mickey heads, LOVE it. We got it for the kids for Valentines day as a warm up for our DL trip in March. I think we like it more then they do, and they REALLY love it

Is that this one? The single Mickey head? We have it. I dont' like it. In my experience the waffles come out too soft. I have one of the old kind that makes 4 heart shape waffles at a time which I love....They are crisp on the outside. I only use the Mickey one if we have company with kids b/c the kids love Mickey and don't care if they are a bit mushy.

What I'd like to do is get one of the waffle stick makers. King Arthur used to have them but they don't carry them anymore. Here's one:

Yup, that's why I run them both! I can make the big ones for Dh and the small ones for the kids. Then every can start eating sooner! I does get confusing sometimes getting the timing right with both going but it works.

Dh would ring my neck if I bought another one, but I like the idea of the one that makes square waffles. I'd love to cook up a whole bunch and freeze and then reheat them in the toaster. The big Mickey's don't fit in the toaster, (an ear always sticks out). I don't think I've tried the small ones though.

The 4 slice waffle maker is pretty big. Each of the picture sections is about the size of the basic Aunt Jemima toaster waffle, but closer to the thickness of a belgian waffle.

Do you want me to measure for you?
