Does anyone know if they sell Mickey waffle irons at WDW? If so where? I want one exactly like they use at the restaurants at WDW, the one I've found online isn't the same.
WDW no longer sells the Mickey Waffle Iron they used to. I would know... I am asked anywhere from one time to six times a day where I work at WDW. Sadly, it is no longer. The only place to find it is somewhere online. I'm sorry :-(
A few years ago I saw in the Sears Christmas Catalogue they carried some by VillaWare. They were about $60 and they had Mickey (Head) and something else. They also had toasters that made characters on the toast.
About 6 months later I was at Liquidation World and they had the Mickey Waffle makers for $10. I'm still kicking myself on not buying more than two.
I work in one of the stores that sells kitchenware. The explanation I was given was that we no longer sell kitchenware that plugs into a wall. No toaster, no waffle maker. I get asked so many times a day if we sell it. Keep looking online and if you find a place that sells them, post it here and PM it to me so I can tell guests about it!

I found one by villaware online. It looks like more of a pancake then a waffle. Definitely not belgian. I found a couple of princess ones on ebay, but I'm skeptic if they actually work. Disney would make a killing off of selling that waffle maker again! It's not like people only go to WDW for the waffles.
The mickey waffle iron i have is the villaware one. it definitely is not belgium style.
I also have the mickey toaster that puts it on the toast. It used to also sing the mickey mouse 'who's the leader' song but the battery died so no music (which is kinda good in the morning).
I got them both together at the disney store several years ago.
I paid near 50 for each.
I really wished that it made waffles like those at disney. If you use the belgium boxed mix, it's good but still not the same.
I don't use the mickey one anymore.
I got a cinderella one that actually is deeper and works better.
When I got married We went to Disney World on our honeymoon. We got one for a shower gift and bought one while we were at Disney. They were the old one made by Vitantonio. Then when Villaware came out with a new one we also bought 2 of those. My kids are now 16 and 19 and grew up eating mickey waffles. Its a real shame that Disney does not sell these anymore. I think they want you to visit the world in order to get a mickey waffle. Message me if you want a mickey waffle maker. I have made many waffles with these and they all still work good. I have new ones too.
If you love waffles, don't get any of the character/shaped waffle irons... or even a waffle iron that does double-duty as a panini maker or whatever. Get a real Belgian waffle maker.
