I love my DS's preschool teacher! She's a huge Disney fan. Each year, she does a birthday party for Mickey Mouse in her classes. :thumbsup2

I'm one of the room moms & I've offered to bring in a special Mickey-themed treat. I'm thinking of doing Mickey rice krispy treats (I have the egg molds which I can use to cut them out). And, I have the Dixie Mickey plates, cups, & bowls I can take in.

Any other suggestions? These are 3 year olds, so nothing to extravagant or messy!

TIA!!

Preschool director here and I just did a note reminding moms and dads that that really cool themed cookie cutter can be used for lots of non sweet items too. Cut sandwiches, cheese, turkey slices etc into mickey shapes. The mickey shaped cheese is really cool and I an hearing that there are a lot more Disney foods out there that might work. icecream?? maybe.
I however LOVE the rice crispy idea the most. Just some other ideas if you need more than one item.

We too have done the mickey b-day party at our school and I just made a b-day cake.

That so cool that you do Mickey's Birthday parties, the teachers I work with are the kind that say "your going to Disney again?".

When we came back from WDW in October, I sent Mickey cupcakes to preschool with my daughter. I made regular cupcakes with frosting and put two mini-oreo cookies on top for the ears. This was easy and the kids loved it.
