My sis has one and it is awesome!!! We use it almost everyday in the summer just to make slushy drinks out of kool-aid or pepsi. It's also great to pour some wine-coolers over ice!!

May I ask....is the ice more like a snow cone or the fluffy snow type ice (like you get in the Japan pavillion at Epcot) ?

It's like shaved ice -- the fluffy stuff -- not small ice chunks like a snow cone.

My old Rival that I paid $14.99 works just as good or better. It isn't as cute though.
