At our Kroger they are selling the Disney food items and I recently picked up the Mickey Shaped Hamburger patties for about $5.00 for a box of 8 patties.
Tonight I made them and ew.
They are very bland, dry, and they shrink up like shrinky dinks!!
Of course the kids loved them and ate them.
We adults did not.
So the dog loved ours.

Don't know about the other Disney food items but I suggest passing over the patties.

I made my own for my kids (but turkey burgers). I have a Mickey cookie cutter (um..I think it is really for an egg) I made the round burger & then when it was done I cut the shape into it & threw the rest of the turkey into dh & my mexican dinner (the kids won't eat that).

Oh & I cut out the bread too so it looked like Mickey.

I don't eat hamburgers, but DH said they tasted like a typical frozen burger. They shrunk so much they looked like butterflies when they were done.

 hello from IL. also! dd saw these at Kroger's and I told her I bet there not any good!! did you see the cheese slices? have a good day! :thumbsup2

That's a great idea. Do you remember where you got the cookie cutter from?

Yea, those mickey ones shrink up quite a big. I'd rather spend the money on the kroger brand burgers.

Anybody tried the Mickey or Pooh Ravioli? :confused3

So totally agree! The kids loved them and likewise, us adults didn't...
I've tried other products, chesses, etc. are fine and the kids enjoy the packaging, but some of the stuff... it's all supposed to be healthy, but I just don't see it. We are surprising our kids for Christmas with a trip to Disney in Jan. and we are telling them by doing a Disney breakfast (idea from a friend) and so a lot of the items are perfect!

Yep-WDW in Downtown Disney. The Kitchen store, I forget the name. I got them in 2005. It came in a set of 2.

I cut sandwiches with them for my kids too. And they don't have that sharp edge like cookie cutters have.

I haven't tried cookies with them yet though.

True, they may not be wonderful, but for me it was the only way I can get our Autistic son to eat hamburgers! I told him they were the Mc Donald's recipe (the only other burger he will eat). After all, they sell Mc Donald's fries at the parks. So next week it is Mickey Burger's again for my family!

:thumbsup2 Good thinking!! :thumbsup2 I've worked with an autistic child so I can respect the 'creativity' that goes into getting them to accept certain things.

I liked the Mickey Burgers. Ours we grilled on our inside grill and the Mickey Mouse shaped cheese is good with them. They are too expensive though, I will however buy the cheese. :)
The kids ate the burgers but were more fasinated with the shape then they were about eating them :sad2:

I have tried both, pretty good! It tastes like any other frozen rav, but my DD will eat them. She liked to bite the ears off (sorry Mickey!)
the Pooh ones are really tastey, a different flavor and we liked them without the sauce, just butter.
