Mickey shampoo bottles

I'm so sad we will not be staying at a DLR hotel b/c I *REALLY* wanted those shampoo and lotion bottles!

Does anyone have empty or extra bottles they'd be willing to share? I think they'd be perfect to reuse as travel bottles for our trip even if we are staying at HoJo...

I have never had the pleasure of staying at any of the Disney hotels so I dont have any for you, I tried to find some on amazon or ebay, but there doesnt seem to be any there , maybe you can purchse some at the DLH gift shop Im really not sure, sorry couldnt be of more help

I have extra - from the Paradise Pier (same bottles as in the DLH). Totally unused (we never use the hotel stuff; we just steal the bottles! ). What do you need? One of each (one shampoo, one conditioner, one lotion, etc.)? And by when exactly do you need them? I hate to send liquids through the mail since they tend to spill, so I have to find a way to package them where they are relatively secure from spills!

I guess the DLH and PP use different bottles than GC? I remember getting the Mickey bottles at other places, but the Grand Californian now uses H2O products..nothing Disney about them.

Exactly. GCH uses the H20 Spa product bottles that are totally non-Mickeyfied. My friend hate the smell of that shampoo, I think. And the PPH and DLH use the bottles with Moouse ears. The funny thing is, when I looked at the teeny print on the back of some of the older PPH bath products (pre-Mickey ears) and on the back of the bottle from the Port Orleans where my friend stayed in 2007, I saw that H20 makes those products as well - it's just that you wouldn't know it because they are Mickeyfied bottles in a lot of Disney hotels, and the H20 doesn't become prominent until the hotel is elegant and upscale, I suppose. But they make the other stuff in the hotels too!!

Here is a picture of the whole 'set,' basically, including the shower cap and mini-soap, for anyone who hasn't seen what they look like. There is also a little mini-cloth of some kind that they give but I didn't get it in this picture:

If you have a foodsaver machine, you can sealthem in the plastic and then mail them.... I sent a lot of stuff to my brother that way when he was over in iraq...

I too have a shampoo and conditioner for sure (maybe more will have to check) so if anyone else would like them I will gladly tape each bottle at the opening, screw on the lid and put in plastic baggies and mail

Yes, they replenish every late morning/early afternoon when they come in to clean! Just remember to hide the bottles from the day before in the drawer of the room or something so Mousekeeping will put more out for you, if you want more, that is! I was accumulating many more than what I needed (because, at the time, it didn't occur to me that some nice folks on DIS may want them! I only thought of that after I got home! Initially I was thinking I would give them to friends of mine), so one day went by where I just left the bottles out from the previous day (unused), so we didn't get an extra set. I mean, they know people are taking them home with them and they expect that, so if you stay for several days and want several sets, you have to make sure to hide them each day. If they see any in the bathroom they won't put more out.

BTW - I did not get a toothbrush. Pycees312 had the concierge, if I recall, so I guess those rooms get toothbrushes. PPH must assume that those of us in the standard rooms don't need to brush our teeth!!

By the way, for anyone who has not stayed at PPH or DLH and has no immediate plans to stay at either of those places in the future, and if Pycees312 and Mousireid run out of Mickey bottle products to give to you, I have ONE additional set that I can part with other than the one I am sending to Momto2nenas! (Actually, I have 2 more sets, but I want to save one of them for a friend.)

So let me know if anyone wants a set and if Pycees312 and/or Mousireid run out of supply! I was going to post about this at the end of last year and ask if anyone wanted any of these products, but I guess I assumed that they wouldn't be that interesting to people! Remember, I have only one available set to spare at the moment (besides Momto2nenas' set), so make sure you REALLY want it!!

...Or I am just a mouse bottle thief/hoarder, one or the other! Yes, hide them in the drawer - only if you want more than one set, of course! I figured people would want them (friends or otherwise) but it took Momto2nenas' thread to jog my memory about it!! Now I feel like I should have gotten more for people! I am glad that Pycees312 and Mousireid have some they can spare too!
