This might not be the right place to post.....anyone know how to take a regular walmart santa hat and modify it with Mickey ears? I'd like to make some so that when we go in Nov we can take our Christmas card photos with those on. The theme park version is going for $25 on ebay. More than I am going to spend x5 people.

Moving to the Arts & Crafts Forum. I'll bet that those creative DISers over there can not only help you but they also know how to build a better mouse-cap. :rotfl:

Sorry, I just couldn't resist the pun.

I haven't tried this but I would think you could cut the 'ears' out of stiff black felt (sold at craft stores in sheets-it's very stiff-like cardboard) leave a tab at the base of the ear to insert each ear in each side seam. I think you could get it to work esp. if you're just going to take the picture wearing them and not wear them all day. I'd also keep your eyes open at The Disney Store-they had sold them other years and may again. I'm sure they'd be much less then $25. Good Luck!
