I'm new to this forum and have searched and dabbled with threads about these... so sorry if this has been answered or rehashed, I read so many different things and can't remember where I've read it!

I wanted to order the Mickey program fans from Impressions but WHOOO holy moley are they 'spensive! (just got emailed the price listings) So now I'm switching gears and want to make them.

For the lettering, I have a printer in mind...so I just need to get some paper Mickey heads... surely cutting them out by hand will kill me!! :)

What is a cricut? I read about them in these forums...I work in an elementary school and we use these things to cut out letters/etc for bulletin boards... is this similar? Does anyone have one and would be willing to cut some Mickey heads out for me (I'll compensate!)?

Also, someone mentioned a template that could be emailed to me so that if I could theoretically find a way to have them cut out professionally, I'd at least have the template... I forgot who made it or has it... if you do, please let me know!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Any suggestions are welcome, I am new to this crafting stuff. :) Willing to learn!

I was also going to make them. But I gave up. I ended up buying them on etsy. Here is the link to the seller I used in case you want to buy them.

Let me just tell you that the seller was AMAZING. She customized them and we went back and fourth until they were exactly what I wanted.

These are perfect and definitely budget friendly! Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction... will definitely be ordering these to save me the trouble of making them. Thanks!

I love that etsy seller! GigiNoelle also made some great seat signs and the programs that are shown in my pj that say bride and groom on them. I also ordered the mickey programs from her with a yellow background and it came out fantastic!

Omg if i could do it over again i would of bought mine on etsy. These were the most time consuming thing for my wedding. I spent probably over a month making 70 of the mickey fans.

hhhmm, I was thinking about making my own since I do have access to a cricut, but maybe I will just buy them, lol.

I made mine with my cricut, and they turned out great! They were super cheap too. I paid about $25 for paper, $5 for ribbon, bought a bag of sticks at the dollar store, paint for the sticks was $2, and I used jewel/rhinestone things that I already had as embellishments. We had about 40 guests, and it cost me under $50! Definitely make them yourself if you have a cricut!
