Mickey Penthouse ?

I have read that they have already started giving away the nights in the Castle at WDW, but have not heard anything about the Suite at the DLH. Have they started giving away the night in the Mickey suite yet? We will be therenext week, and I would be thrilled to win a night there, but don't know if it is even a possibility! Anyone know? Also, if they are, how many people can stay in it? We have a partyof 6... would that alone exclude us? TIA!!!

I don't remember exact dates but when they first started posting about the suites Disney said the Mickey suite in DLH would open before the Castle suite.

Correct ... The MMPH opened before the Castle Suite was completed. A night in the suite is given away EVERY day at Disneyland to a lucky guest as part of the YOAMD.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel last week and noticed a big commotion in the lobby. It was a family who had just won the penthouse suite at the hotel for that night. Goofy was there congratulating them as well as the many cast members. So yes, they are giving them away, but unfortunately we didn't win anything while we were there. If you are staying at DLH maybe look into it a bit. While we were there the monorail was down for the week, the slide in the big pool was down, as well as the playground was under reconstruction. If we had known all that we may have chosen one of the other hotels. I heard the slide and the monorail were to be back up this week so hopefully...

From what I've seen online, it's two bedrooms so six should fit fine. It's beautiful from the pictures.

Of course, I plan on winning it this weekend when I'm there so I'll let you know if we can fit all SIX of our people into the suite! LOL
