OK ... just had to tell somebody (and I know you all understand) that while my souvenir purchase seemed odd at the time, it was perfect for me.

All I brought home was the wine glass with MM frosted all around it. Simple, but fitting for me. I finished all my homework, have graded all my students' papers, the kids are asleep, and now I'm on the computer, toying around, with a glass of wine before bed. The glass reminds me of the trip and the day we bought it. (It was my first time getting something delivered back to the room, but I knew it was the smart thing to do.)

What souvenirs do other adults have?

Just curious, Rebecca

I think I have that same wine glass lol!

I am also a teacher. Classes haven't started for me yet, so I'm still in the planning phases. No wine here though, because I'm still nursing my 9 mo. old daughter.

I too have the MM wine glasses! Last trip I purchased a mug with a pic of Walt on it in black & white. MM is with him but he's in color. I've also purchased pins, Tshirts, a Christmas wreath & picture frames. My favorite is a LE framed print of MM with a matching pin in the frame. Can't wait to go back to see what's new!
:thumbsup2

I haven't been since early childhood, so no souvenirs laying around for me. :( We're going at Christmas though and I'm sure I'll pick something up then. In an engagement post, I saw a beautiful Cinderella glass slipper with a gold bow on it. Does anyone know if they sell those in the park or if it's just for use in the restaurant??? I would LOVE to have one of those! I searched Ebay and saw a few replicas, but none that I liked.

I bought the same glass (2x) and I enjoy a glass of wine every night in my mm wine glass. Has MM turned me into an alcoholic? :rotfl2:

Where did you find the MM wine glass? I'm leaving for WDW in a week and I'd love to bring one home!

I still have my Donald Duck Mesh Hat with the squeeking bill. I've had it since I was 7 (over 34 years ago!!) :donald:

Everytime we go I buy a scrapbook for the trip! I fill them up when I get home, then keep them on display in my living room!

This year I plan to bring home a jar as well - a glass cookie jar/treat jar? I fold origami stars & want to fill a disney jar with them to add to my collection!

I actually have a wine glass from the 2005 Food & Wine festival which I love. It actually now has a small chip on the lip, but I refuse to throw it away. My DW keeps telling me to chuck it, but no way. I can’t replace it with another one. I’m just careful when I drink from it. My other one I just got over the summer. It’s a Disney Cruise glass I got in one of the stores on our Disney cruise this summer. I love both of them. The biggest problem is deciding which to use each time.

We bought it at a shop in Epcot. It was just after you walked over the bridge toward the countries. A big store near the food stand with McD's food.

HTH!

You can also buy the Mickey wine glasses from laughingplacestore.com -- search for "wine" (not glass) and you'll find it. They have a whole section of glasses, plates, etc. and have some matching beer and martini glasses!

I am just in the process of buying these. I'm putting together a different set of Christmas gifts to put under our tiny tree for each of our three mornings in early December. One set has a romance theme with these wine glasses and a split of champagne, a Tower of Terror Do Not Disturb door hanger, and a Mickey robe and terry slippers (found those at disneyshopping.com), and two Disney jazz CDs - Dave Brubeck and Bossa Nova Disney. Having so much fun putting this together!

I have some refrigerator magnets, including one from Castaway Key. They remind me of my trips everyday, while being useful as well. I also have a trivet with Mickey and Minnie that I bought many years ago at the cooking/housewares shop at Lake Buena Vista. I think that shop is long gone now. Finally, I have 2 pairs of earrings I bought on my first trip to WDW with my husband/then boyfriend when I was about 20 years old. (Does that count as an adult?). They are simple wire earrings with one set of enameled mickeys and another of enameled winnie the poohs. Haven't worn them in years; maybe I'll bring them out for the next trip. :)

I've got the set of 4 plates - one for each kingdom - and they're mounted on the backsplash in my kitchen. I love them!!! We also have a magnet from each kingdom on the fridge.

I used to have a glass mug with a standing Mickey etched on the front and my name etched on the back. My parents bought it for me in the Magic Kingdom eons ago when I was 17. (This was back in the day before Epcot opened and DTD was called Lake Buena Vista Village! LOL) I have had this mug FOREVER and used it all the time. Three weeks ago, it slipped out of my hand as I was unloading the diswasher and broke. I was devastated!

DH and I leave on 10/1 for 5 days at the World, just the two of us -- no kids. :woohoo: DH says as soon as we are checked in we are going to Arribas Brothers in DTD to replace my mug! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I have many things I have brought back from WDW. My entire Christmas tree is done in Disney. So I get at least 1 or 2 ormaments each year. A couple of my favorite things are the tiles (trivits) we used to tile the back splash in the kitchen, and the tiles I found at Epcot one year that we made a address holder for the front door. I have about 40 WDW magnets. We have dishes, silverware, bedding, bath stuff, cooking stuff and clothing. I have been a daycare provider for 30 years, and the kids just love all of it. I am taking 2 of my former daycare children, Now 13, on a trip to WDW in Dec. Can't wait. :cheer2:

All of my mugs are Disney. I love to drink hot chocolate from September to April (the only coffee I like has more calories than a big mac).

Every time I drink my cocoa it reminds me of my Disney trip. On our recent trip, my bf asked if I needed another since I already had so many. Of course I did.

I also bought a clock to hang on my bedroom wall.
