Can anyone help direct me to information regarding Mickey Mouse Windup/ Mechanical Watches? I am interested in Mickey Mouse watches from 1933 to present that have mechanical (non-quartz / non-battery) mechanisms, preferably with the classic arms for the hour and minute hands.

Ebay seems to be a good source to find watches for sale, but the descriptions are all over the map: Rare, desirable, impossible to find.... with prices ranging from $10.00 to over $500.00.

Thanks for any help,

I am primarily interested in the following Mickey Mouse mechanical watches:

1. Helbros Stainless Steel Mickey Mouse watch.
2. Disney Shareholder Appreciation 2007 Mickey Mouse watch
3. Bradley 34/35 mm Pie-eyed watches from 1972 to 1975.
4. Men's size Mickey Mouse mechanical watch from various manufacturers.

HELP?

THANKS,

you have picked a good item to collect. I have litterally a hundred plus manual wind watches from the first one from 1933 to the bradley ones from the 60's and 70's. A good reference guide is the Tomart's illustrated Disneyana guide condensed version. You have to take the 'rare, hard to find, never seen before' comments with a grain of salt. A lot of people seem to think they are experts.

I have bought lots of watches for pretty cheap just to get one particular watch and ended up with more than I expected. Heck, just the bands are worth the money. The better shape they are in the more the value. original boxes double the value of a watch. Beware of new 'replicas' or commeratives. They are usually battery operated versions of the manual wind.

Hope this helps and don't hesitate to ask questions!

Bill:
Thank you that's great. I am liking the bigger Mickey Mouse Mechanical watches, such as the Bradley Pie-Eyed watches from the early 70's. The Helbros is something I have yet to find.

Thanks again,

I was in a store in Merrimcak NH last year that had a few old watch boxes. Did not have the watches though. I think it was called Things Remembered.
