Mickey Mouse themed Suite at the DLH!

Wow how neat! And it sucked having to wait longer to go but what a cool surprise. Hope it made it worth it! Your kids are adorable! Such a sweet lil girl :)

That's so cool, I would totally love to stay in the room, even if it did mean sleeping iin a twin bed.

Out of curiosity, what room were you SUPPOSED to have?
Did you upgrade from a std room to the Mickey suite?
Or from a 1-bedroom suite to the Mickey suite?

We paid for a basic standard room. I requested to have a room with a view to see the fireworks but they said they couldn't promise anything.

This is exactly what happened...we were suppose to go back in Nov. But due to the fires we pushed our trip 3 weeks out and WDTC worked with us with out any fees. A week or so before we were suppose to leave we still hadn't received out package, which we should have. WDTC said they would do something special for us, just didn't know what. We didn't care since not having our package didn't affect us in any way...yet. We just really wanted a view room. So at check in they had upgraded us to a room with a DTD view in the Wonder tower. Very cool! But I heard the Dreams is the tower to be in, so I just asked what the chances were for us to get a room over there. She then had to ask her supervisor. And that is what he gave us. All they had to say was they already gave me a great room but they didn't hesitate and he said it wasn't a big deal at all. That's why I wonder if they do this a lot or not...He basically tryped a few things and said ok here you go and walked away. After the lady told me what he did, I had to hunt him down to give him a huge thank you. He just acted like it was no big deal...UMM hello HUGE DEAL for my family!

Your boys' faces were just shining with happiness! They looked thrilled and I bet it gave you the warm fuzzies to see them so happy:goodvibes . That ::MickeyMoMickey room was so well done; I hope my (future) kids get a chance to stay in one some day.

I know that you were really disappointed with the fires and on the fence about going then or postponing. It sure paid off to postpone. Glad you had such great luck with your room. Your family deserved it!
