Mickey Mouse Shaped Butter

Can anyone tell me if there is Mickey Mouse shaped butter at any of the restaurants?

Is that something that you would think would be special ordered?

I know it's silly but my mom has her heart set on it, and if I can get it I would like to.

When I ate at a special event party last year, there were little circular butters with fully detailed Mickey faces of them. It was a special party at the Living Seas and I don't know if they serve it that way at Coral Reef, but I do know it's out there.

Of all the restaurant we ate at last month, the only time we saw the mickey shaped butter was during room service, we were staying at Grand Floridian.

I'm trying to remember where we had it last, but I can't. It seems like it may have be Chef's de France, but I couldn't swear to it. Its not around like it used to be. You could call the restaurant ahead of time and ask if they are able to do it.

Many, many trips ago...June 2005, we had Mickey shaped butter at Cinderella's Royal Table. He was standing up tall on the plate. Haven't seen them since.

I think nearly every WDW eatery used to have Mickey butter. I can't remember when we saw it last. It's little touches like that that help make WDW such a unique experience, wish they'd resume it.

Maybe you could make some for her at home for a special meal. She would really think you were awesome!

Here are the butter molds on ebay. Ice cube molds may work for the same purpose and they had lots of those too.

Mickey shaped butter was common years ago but isn't around anymore.

How weird! I totally haven't thought of this in years! When we were there in '00, I remember seeing it somewhere...Chef Mickey's or CRT, probably, since we didn't do a lot of table services that year. When I was there in '09, I don't recall seeing it even once.

They did away this this about 15 years ago. At many of the signature restaurants you would get a butter standing Mickey statue that was about 2½ inches high.
