I recently got MMC record. This record was published in 75 and has a 16 page mouseketeer cast photo alblum inside the cover. I'm not interested in selling it, but I can imagain that it might be worth something. does anyone know how I would get an appraisal on it for my home insurance. Thank you for any replies

Find a copy of Tomart's Disneyana magazine. Most larger bookstores like B&N, Booksamillion, or Borders should carry it in their magazine section. It usually has ads in it from Disney collectible sellers and dealers. If you can find one near you, they should be able to appraise it for you.

What kind of condition is it in? Any creases, yellowing, scratches, tears, or anything to the album or record that would hurt its value?

The record itself is in perfect condition. I've played it and there are no scratches on it, nor visable scratches, either. the album cover is slightly wrinckled in the top right corner. All of the pages are in great shape. there is a small amout of yellowing but that's going to happen with age. my parents bought it when i was a kid then put it in a record cabinetfor like the last 35 years.i'll take somepics and try to post them later.

Before you go to a lot of effort, check eBay for similar items that have been sold recently. Not much interest there... At least you won't have to increase your home owners insurance!

I have a copy of the book "The Golden Age of Disney Records 1933-1988"

It lists just about everything Disney put out during that time frame, including non-Disney titles.

If you could post the serial number, exact title of the record, color of the label and copyright date I can look it up for you and give you a dollar amount.

As with all price guides, the amounts are subjective. However, I believe you can use it for insurance purposes.
