I found a store in Canada selling these. Their site is: http://www.foreverscrapbooking.com. They are selling them to me for $5.69CAD or $4.15US.

I found the lock set at my lss today. You can find it at www.boxerscrapbooks.com . It was $4.29 at my lss.

You have to e-mail the girls at the e-mail address provided on their site. They do not regularly stock this item. The girl I dealt with was really pleasant and ordered them in for me. Boxer Scrapbook who actually distribute this item do not deal with the public (from what I understand) they sell to the stores only.

I'm curious. Do you know the girls that run that website (or are you one of them)? If not, how did you know to ask them to special order the lock for you?

I have no connection to this store and I am not one of the girls. When I saw the original posting, I went to the e-bay site with the intention of bidding on the item. My husband said, "Whoa, know what you're bidding on before you bid!". So, I did my homework and went to the Boxer scrapbooking website and looked up retailers that carried their product in my area, as Boxer scrapbooking does not sell directly to the public. I used their store locator and attempted to contact several of stores in my area, but this business was the only one that replied. When I asked them if they had the product, they indicated that they didn't carry it, but they could order it in for me. When, I realized that their regular retail rate was roughly half of the opening bid on e-bay, I thought others would like to know. The rest as they say....is history.

I would recommend to anyone that they use the Boxer scrapbooking store locator to see if the product is carried in their area. Happy shopping!
