My Mom will be coming with us to the World - and she has waited her whole life to get a picture with Mickey Mouse...

Well, she has one picture with him, but it was from the 80's, and Mickey is wearing a space suit :lmao: (Epcot)

She has always wanted a picture of him in his regular outfit...

I was planning a meal at Chef Mickey's (still will), but it occurred to me that he wears a chef outfit there, huh?

What about in Toontown?

Any ideas for me?

Thanks...

:yay:

We have a picture from Toontown with Mickey in his traditional black, red & white.

Line was too long in Toontown for us but at Chef Mickey he is wearing a chef's outfit and at Garden Grill in Epcot he is dressed as farmer, at AK he is in Safari gear. So if you want that picture of him dressed I would get to Toontown as soon as the open for character grettings, I think it was 10. We went later in the day and the lines were huge, 60 minute waits!

We met Mickey in ToonTown this past Feb and he was dressed traditional. We waited less than 10 minutes to meet him. I think when they do the Character Meals they are dressed in a theme. He was at 'Ohana but he wore a Hawaiian shirt.

Mickey meets at MGM in his Sorcerer outfit, and I've seen him in Toon Town with his red-white-and black outfit. I think both of those are pretty traditional outfits. I prefer the Sorecerer's outfit. He's also at Character Connection, in Epcot, in his Year of a Million Dreams outfit.

Toontown for sure! I have heard that the lines are a bit less long in the evening... maybe the really little ones all get tired by then

Have fun!

toontown hall of fame as mentioned and also the playhouse disney dance party which takes place on EMH evenings, but that's not so much a meet & greet op, but if you go during the last hour or so, you might be able to pull him away for a minute (although characters do cycle at the party).

most of the other outfits have been mentioned.

We met Mickey in Toontown and Epcot. He was wearing the traditional colors I believe in each place. The Gold tie may have been because it was the 50th anniversery. See the Epcot pic below.

I asked the exact same question before I went to WDW in Dec. and everyone was right. He was in his traditional outfit in toontown. We went late afternoon on a Saturday and the line was about 20 min. long.

We met Mickey several times but our favorite was in Toontown not only becasue of the traditional outfit, but also because it seemed like it was just us and Mickey. The way they have it set up you aren't in the middle of a lot of people once you get to him and so it's much more personal. One side note, every picture I've seen with Mickey from toontown is fabulous. That was our family's best pic of the entire trip, as well as several of our friends and family who have also gone. Maybe everyone looks a little happier with Mickey?!?!?

bear in mind your photo was taken before the YOMD started. as mentioned multiple times in this thread, he's currently in his YOMD outfit at Epcot.

(although technically, he's currently doubled up with Minnie in the temporary space)

Awww, how cute! I think the only spot right now for the traditional outfit is Toontown. Epcot and MGM are YOAMD, and AK is safari.

When I was at Epcot he was paired with Pluto, and Minnie was with Goofy. I'd like a pic with them in those outfits together though. . .

Also, at the parties he's in special outfits, there was pirate Mickey at the PPP, Mickey and Minnie in holiday outfits at MVMCP, and Mickey in costume at MNSSHP.

yeah, sadly, it seems they opted to pair mickey & minnie up in march (or late feb at the latest). to the best of my knowledge, it's been that way every day since. someone just sent me a pic with the two of them together.

Thanks Brad I stand corrected. I had not read the post about the YOMD costume.

We got a picture of Mickey in front of the Magic Kingdom one day before we actually entered the park in the morning. There were some characters there, we just go lucky.

Yes I was just going to say that. If you arrive very early for rope drop he signs autographs after the train arrival and opening countdown..:thumbsup2

Not anymore. Mickey and Minnie no longer meet in the front of the park. Clarabelle and Horace have taken over in front of the train station.

Guess it depends on when you go, cause I saw him there last week.

I was there in mid-Feb when it was Mickey and Pluto.
