Mickey Mouse Grand Marshall for the Pegasus Parade

If you live in Kentuckiana you know that the DERBY is big each and every year for us. But just in case you didn't know Mickey Mouse is the Grand Marshall for the Pegasus Parade this afternoon!

Hope the weather holds off for our favorite Mouse!

Not this year...I have a torn rotator cuff and fighting the crowds in down town Louisville is not my idea of fun today. But I will watch it from home!

No seeing Mickey Mouse for us either. I have to go to a meeting and my daughter's cheerleading gym tonight. Plus just now on the news they said have umbrellas because they are expecting rain during the parade.

That's ok though because we get to go see Mickey at his home in 36 days.

YES, wouldn't miss seeing my buddy Mick for the world. I attended as the wizard Merlin on the "green magic float" and waved to Mickey, and he waved back.... wizard to wizard..... wonderful time, thanks for coming Mickey.....

I was there! It stopped raining just as the parade began and held off throughout. I had a fever of 101 and felt horrible, but DD5 was so excited to see Mickey! Plus we had paid $25 each for a seat and couldn't get that back. Crowds weren't bad at all -- there were a lot of empty chairs and bleacher seats around the Brown Theatre.

Mickey's hat was a different color of blue than what we've seen at WDW and I think it was smaller. Don't know if this was the travelling version or what.
Good parade, but a bit long (I'm not really a parade person, plus I felt awful). Had to go for Mickey though!
