Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Yeah!!!! Others who dance to the Hot-diggety dog song!!!! We look like a bunch of fools I'm sure, but boy do we have fun. We also use that song and M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E to distract DD when she starts a tantrum. It works! We are so glad Playhouse Disney has a Mickey Mouse and friends show.

I forgot to add a question - anyone else's kids call the Mickey icon "Toodles" now? Every time my DS sees the icon he says "Oh Toodles" including the one that is tattooed on my back! I can't imagine all of the Toodles he's going to point out on our trip in Sept! Fun stuff :)

My DD (age 2) loves this show. I let her watch it so she can get to know some Disney characters. Hopefully, she'll be more excited to see them when we visit in Sept.

DS (5) loves the show and can't wait for the weekends. I hear him in his room going "miska mooska Mickey Mouse!". What a great show for kids.

My 4 yr old DS runs around saying the same thing. He also tells me he needs his Mousekatools to fix things that are broken. :rotfl:

We leave for WDW on Monday and I know this show has really gotten him excited about going.

My daughter absolutely loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I'm kind of hooked on it too. She also loves Little Einsteins. We are going to WDW in August. It will be her first trip. What park are Little Einsteins in?

Regarding the Wiggles, I think they are still on. I could swear my daughter watched them over the weekend.

Can I tell you how happy I am to find out I'm not the only one who gets up and dances to Hot Dog???

My DD6 claims to like it, but never notices we erased the one episode we TIVOed, and never looks for it when it's on.

As far as DW and I go, well, we love it when Dora, excuse me, Mickey has to solve a problem and gets something from Backpack, excuse me, that tool thing, and then has to deal with Swiper, excuse me, Pete.... While we are outside the demographics, we'd both rather watch House of Mouse, or anything that isn't quite so derivative. Still, it does accomplish its goal, to make the classic Disney characters more accessible to toddlers.

My kids love this show, too! They sing all the songs and get really excited when it's 8:55am on Sat. morning and mommy says, "OK you guys! Let's go watch Mickey!!!"

I also noticed that the Wiggles were MIA over the weekend. And I don't really care for the Doodlebops, either. They're creepy.

Hot dog!

The doodlebops are soooo creepy!! My DD (2) runs away when it comes on. "Mommy I don't like the Doodlebops" We tivo Little Einsteins and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She loves them!

The songs get soo stuck in my head though! :rolleyes1

MISKA MOUSKA MICKEY MOUSE....My 4 year old and 2 year old LOVE it. My 2 year old son goes around singing the Hot Diggity Dog Song all the time. I wish it was on everyday instead of weekends only!

My kids, DD 4 and DD 2, both love it too. Our daughter is speech delayed but there are two things she says clear as a bell, "Mouse" and "Duck!" She loves Mickey and Donald (her daddy's personal favorite). If something is on TV, my kids may watch for a few minutes and then wander off to play. The exception is Mickey and the Einsteins. They love them both. Even though we are only going to WDW for 3 days this December, I am making sure one of them is at MGM for the characters alone. I have to figure out when we can do some attractions between seeing Leo & June, Jojo & Goliath, the Toy Story guys and Lightning McQueen & Mater (from Cars)!

I also agree on the Doodlebops -- weirder than weird!!! My son does like Charlie & Lola though. I think it is the British humor!

Too funny!! I love the show, but the first time I saw it I told my husband is was a blatant rip off of Dora the Explorer!!

My wife walked by the fridge the other day and noticed MICKEY spelled out in magnetic letters... all thanks to the song on this show! Our kids love it, and we TiVo it as well. Our DD4 now knows how to bring up the list and pick out an episode for her and her brother, which can be both a blessing and a curse!

Our DD ( 31 months) really enjoys this show also. I think its cute and am happy that we are branching out from Dora and Diego since that is all she used to watch :thumbsup2

We also wish it was on more frequently.

My DS5 absolutely loves this show. Our PVR broke while we were gone on vacation, so I have to call Dish Network to get a new one. My DS5 was very upset yesterday when we couldn't record Mickey Mouse Clubhouse since our PVR wasn't working! I even like the show! It is adorable! My DS9 likes it too, but not as much as my DS5. Hope they'll come out with more episodes, and on other days of the week!!

As soon as they have enough episodes (66 for regular, network television - I don't know how many Disney requires for their own series), they'll "strip" it, or start playing it five mornings in week.

By that time, of course, your children might be sick of it. :happytv:
