I don't get the Mickey Monitor even though as an AP holder I should get one each time its published. I have been trying to get a MM for years now. I think the problem is that we have two addresses, one in St Augustine FL and one in Monroe NJ. With the FL seasonal AP you have to be a FL resident so we give that address. My neighbor forwards the mail but I'll bet she is throwing this little magazine away. She is 85 so I don't even want to bring it up. I don't want to hurt her feeelings and I think questioning her on what she may or may not have thrown away would do just that.

Anyway, I understand that in the Mickey Monitor there is a code for buying pictures from Disney photo website www.disneyphotopass.com for 50% off. If anyone has the MM and is not going to use their code would you please PM me??
Thanks,
Marylyn

I just got a PM stating that they thought the card in the MM must be taken to the parks so photos can be put in it. I don't think this is how it works. I have heard from several people who already had their regular Photopass card with pictures on it and that they simply put in the code from the MM when it came time to pay and they were good for the 50% discount.

The code expires in May so if anyone is not going to use their code could you please pm me.

Hi Marylyn!
The offer was actually a little plastic card in the Mickey Monitor and it was good for 50% off a 5"x7" photo from Disney's Photopass. The idea was that you hand the card to the various CMs taking your photos and then all the pix can be viewed online when you return home. You would then be able to order your prints.

The offer is good until 5/31/05 and you can purchase up to 4 prints. If you won't be at the parks before 5/31/05, there will be another offer in the May Mickey Monitor.

I understand what you're saying but I didn't have a card to take to the parks but If I enter the code from the MM when I check out-- the 50% will be deducted on the 4 prints I chose. I don't have to take the card to the parks I only need the number from someone who will not be using it before the expiration date. My pictures are already taken and on the website www.disneyphotopass.com and I am afraid they will be deleted if I wait until May. Also if I have the same luck in May as I have always had with getting a Mickey Monitor I won't receive one then either.

I just need a code from someones's magazine who is not going to use it. Nothing fancy, that's all I need. THANKS!

Hey everyone!! I too would like to know why I didn't get the MM. I activited mine at the end of Dec. Oh, btw.... you can download the MM on the disneyworld.com site. Just sign in or register your AP and it gives a link to download Feb. and the previous one to. Hope this helps.

The online version doesn't have the coupon in it that I need! I am ready to quit this whole business soon and pay the full price minus the 20% I get with my Disney Visa card.

I activated my AP & registered it at disney.com in July and I have yet to recieve a MM. What is up w/that!? Hopefully, I can get it on-line. Thanks for the heads up. We'll be going in early May, so I'll be able to use that coupon!

We can't give you a code because there isn't one!! You have to present the card, not a code. That's why no one is helping you out here. It's a credit card type thing you have to have in your hand to get the discount. As someone said, if you are not going before May 31, they will be sending out another one in the summer issue. I would certainly speak to the lady that is forwarding your mail and make sure she understands that you want every single piece of mail that comes through. You could have gotten a postcard with a good rate on it and never known about it!! Best of luck.

Actually you are wrong. There IS a code on the back- it's long and is a mix of letters and numbers. I would happily have given you mine, but we are going in May and I planned to try it.

Maybe a phone call to Disney, tell them the Monitor got thrown out accidentally and you would love to see if you can still get a photopass.

Isnt there an Annual Pass Holder, who has their Monitor and is NOT going in May who can share with this person??

That really stinks. I would call if I were you and find out why you didn't get your copy. Unfortunately, if you didn't get the mickey monitor you can't use the coupon. The card came glued inside the MM. There is no card or code inside the downloadable copy online. (I checked for a friend who also didn't get her copy).

Actually what GOOFY4TINK means is that there is no "shareable" code. The code on the back of the card is unique to that one individual card. Once used, it can't be reused. If the ID is given out, then when the holder uses the card, it will have no value.

This is what the Mickey Monitor says after you peal off the card:

The promotion code is good for one order only and is not transferable.
