Whenever we go to WDW, we stock up on those cute rectangular boxes of Mickey mints. Does anyone know if you can use snack credits for these?

Do you mean the tiny little tins?

Not sure about them, I never saw them with a DDP sticker on them this last trip, but many things aren't marked.

The snack credit sticky might list it though.

A snack credit can only be used for a single serving item.

How much were they the last time you were there? I don't recall the exact price, but I am pretty sure they are over the $4 mark this year - unless there is a tiny size I don't know about. It won't hurt to ask. They are cute little tins!!

In terms of being a single serving, I doubt this will count though. I think that falls into the "box of donuts" category where a tin of mints may not be considered a "snack for one person". Still, you never know. Bizarre things have happened!

When we were there several years ago (2006) we had a ton of snack credits left and at AKL we were allowed to use them for snack credits (I think they let me get 2 per credit) they made great little gifts for friends back home.

Things have changed since 2006 on the DDP.

The one's I am talking about are little rectangular boxes. I think they were about $2.75. I see what you all mean about the single serving issue. I'll ask when we are there. Otherwise, I'll just stock up like I usually do!

I am very aware things have changed since 2006. I was just making a comment. I do keep on the board and am in the process of planning another trip to WDW. I was merely pointing out that back then they were very generous with the plan.

I LOVE mickey mints, used lots of snack credits last time (07) to buy them and I think?? they were close to $4 then. Getting close to emptying the last tin. I sure hope we can use snack credits or else I'll be carrying a lot less home :sad2:

I seem to recall them being around $3.95 or maybe a little more. Mouse Gear at Epcot was selling them in packs - I think packs of 4 - which worked out slightly cheaper. You certainly wouldn't be able to use a snack credit for that, but if you can't use it for a single one, this may be a cheaper way to buy them to take home.

I always forget how much things cost. We will be there on THursday so I will find out soon!
