Your MK day reminds me that there are still some things that I haven't done... like the characters at the new FL circus area. (What is that area called?? ) Those are unique character costumes for Donald and Daisy.

That Peter was hilarious! Glad you captured that perfect moment.

Nice photo of you and Vinny in the Dumbo ride photo op thing... not sure what you call that where you can pose for photos but it is not the actual ride. Ok, it's late and I'm not making any sense. I have at least one FP+ this coming trip for Dumbo since if I don't want to miss the new stuff over there.

I bet those Rapunzel charging stations are getting a workout these days, since people are using their phones so much with FP+ and all kinds of Disney apps.

I can't get decent pictures in HM with my little point and shoot.

Mr. Toad got taken away - for a cleaning, I would guess - recently, but reports are that he is back in place.

Nice pictures. Love that pretty blue sky.

I agree that the Rapunzel section is pretty and all but I wish that they had done something more than just make bathrooms there. It's such a pretty area.

We made several tombstones to decorate with at Halloween and used some of the epitaphs used at the Haunted Mansion.

They probably should have added a Rapunzel meet and greet in that area and then they could put a different princess in the princess hall.

As beautiful as your pictures are, I'm surprised you get nothing in HM. I've seen you get some really great low light pictures. I find I have to take my camera off autofocus to get some of the pics in there. If I don't the lens just spins and spins trying to find something to focus on.

You're really getting a lot done in MK. What a great day so far!

OK caught up again. I have fallen so far behind I'm not even sure where I left off.

Still only saw the meet area once on my solo trip. Nobody likes to go with me.

I like Pinocchio's Village Haus but not as much since they changed the menu a couple of years ago.

You need to practice in HM for pictures. It's one of my challenge attractions.

it is pretty but I don't want to hang out waiting for my phone to charge where people are using the potty. It just seems odd to me but yes the area is very pretty.

After our scare (LOL) we decided to go and see some presidents.


Then we were inside.




Bored? Tired? Hot? Who knows.


Then we went inside. This is a big building.


Then the show started. I think Renee might have napped in here. LOl.

It was nice seeing this but it is not a must do. I think this was the 2nd time we went in there.

After this we decided we wanted a snack. I was messaging with a Dis’er, Emmysmommy(Brenda) and she was in the park with Emmy. I told her where we were and soon enough they were there. Vinny and Renee went to get us our snacks while I waited and then I saw them and we chatted for a few minutes and I got proof.

I did enjoy the few minutes we had to chat and hopefully our paths will cross again and we can chat over a meal or a drink. I think Vinny came over and said hello.

Then I went to see Vinny and Renee and we had a cup of ice cream. I had vanilla and Vinny had twist.

The total was $7.44

After our snack we decided to head back to the room for a swim.

While walking out I took photos of the posters.






This is my favorite and last week they made it a shirt. I got one.


Always ready for new memories.


The red monorail passed us overhead while we walked to the bus.


Then I saw the double bus. We never got to ride in one.


We got back to the resort at 3pm and then we had 3 hours to swim and we did.

Hall of Presidents I did with DH on our couples trip, but I can't subject the kids to it..WAY too much eye rolling and I'd hate to have to smack them at MK It is a good place to cool off! YAY for a DISmeet and a nice long swim!!!!! And you reminded me, I forgot to buy DH a POTC shirt, I thought I did...I bought myself a shirt a wallet and the girls some PJs

I think Brenda has met more DISers than anyone I know. It's pretty amazing. Glad you got to meet her. I hope I do on one of these trips.

When I last left you we went back to the resort to swim. This evening we had dining reservations at Olivia’s. Renee decided to rest her feet and so she stayed back at the resort.

Vinny and I went to the boat dock so we can take it to DTD and then catch the boat to OKW.


Then we were at OKW. Bad pic of lighthouse.


Looks pretty at night.


Then we arrived at our destination.


We shared a meal here.

Apps:
Tomato-Mozzarella Salad - with Mixed Greens and Balsamic Syrup $8.99


Vinny ordered this.
Conch Chowder - served with Oyster Crackers $7.49


Entrée:
Shrimp and Grits - Sautéed Shrimp with Vegetables, Tasso Ham, and fresh Herbs served over Olivia's Famous Grits $21.99


We shared that. Honestly that is the only thing I order when I come here and I love it.
The total with the discount and tip was $39.71.
We will be back.

Then we went out to the bus stop and I saw this which I thought was pretty.


Now we were heading to Epcot. Vinny’s Granddaughter was in Disney but only for a short while with her boyfriends family so we wanted to say hello.

I literally took 35 photos of the fountain. It kept changing colors and was so pretty.

This is where we met Aubrey and her BF. Vinny went off with Aubrey to chat and I chatted with Jackson and soon enough I went in here to get a beverage.

Now Vinny did not want to see Illuminations but I did. He left and went back to the resort and they walked back into WS with me. They stayed a bit but I told them to leave because his family was waiting for them to have dinner and I felt bad holding them up. So they were on their way.

It looked pretty lit up.


I walked with them towards the front of the park and then I stopped and they went on. It was nice to see her even if it was so briefly.
Now I was ready to watch Illuminations. I stopped somewhere in United Kingdom or Canada. I think it was Canada. Sorry for the rock.

The show was great and afterwards I slowly made my way out.
I saw this on the way. I wish it came out better.


Soon enough I was back and here is the pool right before I went inside to sleep.


I do not have the walking miles for this day. Then it was sleep.

I had the Shrimp N Grits at Olivia's in May and it is probably now my most favorite meal in all of Disney World. It was SO good and you can bet Denny and I will be going back in October! LOVE THAT PLACE!!!!!!!

Thanks for the video of Illuminations. The sound track and fireworks come out really well. Glad you stayed and enjoyed it. Such a great show! Night time in Epcot is the best!
