Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

SO many great pics!!!

Like the shots of fountains in the water.

The candy window.....Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Um, Yes. Of course we want to hear your DLP plans silly :wizard:

Yes do tell your plans for Europe.

We ate on the Fulton boat when it was 2 other restaurants way back in the 80s. One was a steakhouse and one was seafood and it was excellent. I too want to try Fultons someday.
I will. I need to write it up so it will be in the future.
:thumbsup2

Of course we want to hear your plans for DLP. did you even need to ask that? :rotfl:

Once again - great night time shots of DTD. It looks so festive!
:rotfl2: I figured I didn't but thought I would.
Thanks.

Great pictures of DTD at night. Love the great natural pose you struck.

And what sort of question is that? Of course we want to hear all about your plans for Europe and DLP.
:lmao: Thanks.
Will do.

Great pictures at DTD, Scott. You are too funny with your "pose."

Yes, the chicken place closed.

Starbucks was not yet open when we were there in March.

We have eaten at Fulton's a number of times. It is pricey and in all the times we have eaten there we've had only one bad meal out of all of those times.

I want the candy apples in the window!

And, of course, we want to hear your plans for Paris!!!
Thanks. :lmao:
I thought I read it did. Never tried it. I heard it was good.
It looks like a nice Starbucks form the pic.
That is good to hear. Sounds like it mostly consistent.
:thumbsup2

I absolutely want to hear of your plans. Can't wait.
:thumbsup2
Will do. Thanks

I stole Kathy's post because it was exactly what I was going to say :rotfl:
:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Would love to hear any plans about disneyland paris.
Will do.

Hi Scott,
Always read your TR's but post infrequently. Have to say I love the pics. Some are postcard perfect. :thumbsup2 Looking forward to more.
:welcome:
Thanks for posting.
Thank you.

Thanks.
I don;t like candy apples anymore but they looked good.
:thumbsup2

It would be hard to bore us Disney geeks with lots of Disney pictures. I enjoyed seeing DTD when I checked in this evening. I'm thinking of the lucky folks walking around down there right now - a little shopping, some picture taking, some dancing out at the stage (if they haven't taken that away with/for the refurb), and maybe a stop at Ghirardelli. :) I am anxious to see all the changes that have already been made when we are there in July.

I wish I was walking around there now. NOw I am jealous of all that are doing it. :lmao:

We then continued on through DTD. Soon we were by the Lego store.

I actually like how this one came out.

We did not go inside, just looked at the outside displays. Next up we came to.

We did go inside. I believe Lorrie was looking for magnet or an ornament.

I took some shopping photos. Caren will be happy. LOl.

Anyone looking for a doll?

Now as some of you know in June last year I started selling Disney trips for a company and I have spoken to the owner through email and phone only. As we were walking through WOD someone approached me and said hi. I said hello back. He then said “you don’t know who I am” and then a minute later it clicked. It was Ron, the owner of the company I sell for. LOl. I was embarrassed I didn’t recognize him but I got over it. LOl. It was great meeting him and his son and saying hi and actually putting a real face (not profile pic) to the voice.
We did a little more shopping. I had to become a Sith Lord.

The Genie was ready for Christmas.

They look like they are singing.

Some more walking around.

These are cute.

Some more of the store.

I think I will stop here for pic limits. I have one more update then this night will be over.

Up next,

The rest of the night.

Scott, what a fun update. The pictures you took of all the Lego statues are fabulous!

And I love shopping and felt like I was right there. I wish I had seen that Minnie...I would have bought it.

I love all those Lego displays. But last year I almost knocked over the Woody from Toy Story inside the shop.

Love, love, love World of Disney. Great pictures. No matter how much time I spend there, I never seem to see it all. Nor did I even notice some of those beautiful displays.

You really do take beautiful pictures, Scott. Thanks for sharing them.

Great pics

How funny you ran into the owner of company you work for and didnt recognize him :rotfl:

Love that Castle in the World of Disney Store. So pretty pixiedust:

More great pics from DTD.

Love the one with you with the Vader Mickey ears. That's a great hat.

I almost hate to say this.....but.....I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that has issues with remembering faces and people. *hangs head in shame*

Nice look Scott! You just need a cloak with a hood and you are good to go.

Loved all your DTD photos. You photographed it so well at night.

What a coincidence to run into the owner of the company you work for. At least he knows you believe in the product you sell! ;)

Loving all your photos, I don't think I've ever been to DTD in the dark so it was nice to see all the lights :)

How funny you bumped into your boss, I too am terrible with faces, my DH will point people out and I have no clue who they are :rotfl2:

I took some shopping photos. Caren will be happy. LOl.

::yes::, she will.

So many fun Christmas things I missed out on seeing, and I don't think we will go at Christmas again until probably 2016. When I need a Disney Christmas shopping fix between now and then, I can enjoy these pictures. :santa:

great photos as always.

our camera stinks at night. very jealous.

we were down there right around the same time for couple of days Dec 8 - 11 following a mini Magic 4 nt. cruise to the Keys. But we never made it to DTD.

Love that Minnie Doll! I would have made an impulse buy had I seen her

We went back to Disney for a 2nt very mini Christmas Trip to try out the VGF studios and had a Christmas Eve 7 fish dinner at Fultons.

It was fantastic! We used Dlx dining plan meal credits to really do it justice.

I'll have to post pics somewhere. Maybe on the food porn thread.

Loving the DTD pictures. When we were there in March it was crazy busy too. So hard to get around with all the people and the construction on top of that. I really need another holiday trip. Your pictures make me long for all the decorations!

So many great pictures!

Of course we want to hear about your DLP and Europe trip! We are planning for Sept 2015 so I woukd benefit from your knowledge.
